Colts making the playoffs is as exhilarating as Big Momma buying the Cutlass back from Pookie! “$20.00”

NASHVILLE — Everybody and their baby’s momma thought that the Indianapolis Colts would be sitting at home when the playoffs start this weekend including me. No way would they finish the season with a .500 record let alone make the freakin’ playoffs. Not with a 1-5 start, a new head coach and Andrew Luck not even being able to throw the ball down field on a Hail Mary in Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

It was the last play of the game with the Colts down 20-16 to the defending Super Bowl champs on the road and Jacoby Brissett was brought into the game to attempt the Hail Mary NOT Andrew Luck. Obviously, they lost the game and boyz were ready to sell the rest of their season ticket packages. They were at that time 1-2 and looking like Big Momma had sold the Cutlass to Pookie down the street.

They went on to lose the next three and Uncle LeRoy had gotten beaten up in front of the Elbow Room Lounge and had the rent money stolen from him trying to gamble with the wrong cats. It was bad in Indy after six weeks of football.

Then all of a sudden they win 9 out of 10 games to make the playoffs and everybody’s happy. Including Big Momma who bought the Cutlass back from a crackhead for $20 and Uncle LeRoy can atleast show his face at the Elbow Room again.

It’s amazing that first year head coach Frank Reich kept the ride in the middle of the road and never lost control of the situation.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! It’s mind blowing how good Andrew Luck can be when he’s healthy and standing upright. When he’s being protected it’s incredible how productive he can be. All of the haters were calling the dun overrated for the past several years when he was simply hurt and laying supine most of the time. Now that he’s got time to throw the football and make decisions he’s their guy. Blows my mind.

Think about what these cats have accomplished this season. They are one of only three teams in NFL history to make the playoffs after starting 1-5. They join the 2015 Kansas City Chiefs and 1970 Cincinnati Bengals as the ONLY teams to EVER do it. That’s incredible!!!!

Okay, it’s cool to kiss up to Andrew Luck this week but don’t make it a habit of talking bad about a boy when he’s hurt and then wanting to love on him when he’s winning. That’s called being fake as a three dollar bill. It’s playoff time so let’s get it in. Up next: The Colts travel to Houston to take on the Texans on Saturday.
