LOS ANGELES — The highly anticipated Colts season finally kicked off in LA without Andrew Luck at the helm. Most folks were worried about what they would look like when it got real. Well playas…they held their own on the road taking the Chargers to overtime losing it 30-24.

Don’t trip on the Week 1 loss, look at what they were able to do by even competing and coming from behind with 5 minutes left to play being down 8 points. They scored a touchdown and converted on the two-point conversion to send it into overtime in the first place. They showed some resilience and more importantly Jacoby Brissett played well.

Ole boy finished 21/27 for 190 yards and 2 touchdowns. He had a passer rating of 120.7!!! Wheredeydodatat? This was his first game as the man running the show. Not the back up filling in. That’s promising for the Colts fans. Not only that they were able to run the football too.

Mark Mack had on the complete clown suit with the water spitting flower. He finished the day 174 yards on 25 carries. That’s NUTS for the Colts!!! As a unit they rushed for 203 yards. It was normal for the Colts to have less than 100 yards rushing for most of the season these past few years.

To come out of the gate with 203 yards rushing is OUTSTANDING. It’s just Week 1. It’s only going to get better. I don’t know about you guys but I’m excited for what the Colts will have a chance to do in 2019. I still believe that they are a playoff team.
