Can the Pacers bounce back, keep their dignity and at least compete against Golden State Monday?

The Indiana Pacers went down to Memphis on Saturday night and played their first game without Victor Oladipo who is out for the season with a ruptured quad tendon and they looked a hot mess losing 106-103. They never once led in the game and couldn’t shoot a spit ball in U.S. History Class. We all know that boyz were still reeling after losing Vic for the season but it’s put up or shut up time in the NBA.

On Monday they’ve got some duns showing up that aren’t going to care who’s on the floor, bench, locker room or building. The two-time defending champs, Golden State Warriors, aren’t even going to knock on the door bruh. They’re getting out of the gangsta mobile and they will literally be kicking in the front door like the Feds in the hood at 4 o’clock in the morning.

Not only will they show up rocking 5 All-Star caliber players but they’re dragging with them a 10 game winning streak. They haven’t loss a game since January 3rd against the Rockets. They literally won 12 of the last 13 games they’ve played. Did I mention that Boogie Cousins was playing too? Yes!! That dun too. Like they didn’t already have enough fire power and foolishness to deal with.

On Saturday Indiana looked shook by the Grizzles who were the polar opposite of the Warriors. They’d loss 8 straight, came into Fed Ex Forum and pushed the Pacers around for four quarters. Indiana struggled to shoot the ball and their ball movement was almost at a stand still with only 17 total assists. Not to mention they couldn’t buy a three-point shot from the Flea Market with some old school food stamps.

It’ll be very interesting to see how they bounce back on Monday against the best team in the business. Golden State hasn’t been the dominant team in the NBA so far this year but they ARE the most dominant team in the NBA and when it’s time to light it up they can and will.

The Pacers are wounded right now and Golden State knows that. Will Indiana show up with some fight, hold on to their dignity and at least compete with the neighborhood bullies? We shall see!!!
