INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Pacers bounced back on Friday night in a thrilling overtime win over the Orlando Magic 120-118. Malcolm Brogdon drained a 3-pointer with 2.8 seconds left to seal the deal.

“I like to take big shots,” Brogdon said. “My teammates and coaches trust me to take shots. I trust myself to take big shots. I knew where shot clock was, so I just shot the ball.”

Brogdon led the Pacers with 23 points as Myles Turner and Jeremy Lamb each finished with 22 points. Turner playing his first game after missing two games with a right hand injury sat out the overtime period with cramps.

“It was frustrating not being out there in OT, but I think it was for the better,” Turner said.

Jeremy Lamb came off of the bench and put in work after recently returning from an ACL injury that sidelined him almost a year.

Domantis Sabonis dropped off his usual double-double finishing with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Doug McDermott had 13 points.

Evan Fournier led the Magic with 26 points as Nikola  Vucevic dropped off 24 points and 12 rebounds. After the game Vucevic had this to say, “Both teams battled. They just made one more play than we did. Evan made some big shots. His last shot went in and out.”

Indiana improves to 9-6 on the season with Toronto visiting Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Sunday.
