Bears spend $141 million to get 6 tackles instead of $3 million on a darn kicker! “Bear Down literally”

I told these duns we needed some offense but they wouldn't listen to me either Jay! Photo: Poppa Bear!

CHICAGO — Just before the season started the Chicago Bears traded for Khalil Mack and paid him a king’s ransom of $141 million with $90 million of it GUARANTEED!! I said that they were NUTS for paying a defensive lineman that type of bread. However, they won their division and made the playoffs fueled by a resurgent Monsters of the Midway Defense led by Mack.

Regardless of how good the defense was all season they still loss the Wild Card game at the crib 16-15 to the Philadelphia Eagles. So once again, was it worth paying a king’s ransom to a dun that couldn’t score points when it counted? They only gave up 16 points and loss!!! Unacceptable!!!

Sure, Khalil Mack made them a better team because they went from winning 5 games a year ago to winning 12 games, winning the division and making the playoffs. That was great for the fan base to enjoy but it’s playoff football and defenses don’t win championships anymore playa.

Perhaps they should have spent $3 million instead  $141 million they gave to Mack on a darn kicker that could at least hit a wide open 43 yard field goal. Cody Parkey was tied for second for the most missed field goal in the league with 7 and 3 missed extra points. Once again, if you can’t score points you can’t win. Doesn’t make sense to spend all of your money on a defensive end that literally only had 6 tackles all night when all of the marbles were on the table.

Philly isolated him keeping him in check minimizing his effect on the game. It’s 2019 and the Bears’ defense couldn’t have played any better than they did as a unit. However, they’re sitting there looking at each other with a big fat “L” after only giving up 16 points in a playoff game. Unacceptable!!!

So now what? Do they go out and spend another $141 million on some offense like I said they should have when they paid Mack or keep telling boyz that defense wins championships? They couldn’t have played any better and still loss.

So, if you’re cool with winning a bunch of games during the regular season only to lose the Wild Card to exit early, I’m cool with that too. Just don’t tell me that he was worth $141 million when you’ve got an offense that couldn’t score but 15 points and a terrible kicker that had only one job and he kicked the darn ball into the goal post.

They could have spent that same $141 million on several offensive weapons and a kicker and won the darn game instead of paying one cat that got isolated and ended up with 6 tackles that became a non-factor only to lose it. Stop me when I start lyin’!
