Bears fans could learn a thing or two from this Sooners fan! “Stop Talking Trash Until They Actually Win Something”

CHICAGO — For the first time in three weeks the rest of the world gets to have some peace and quite from obnoxious Bears fans talking about going to the Super Bowl. They started the season 3-0 and like clockwork they were screamin’ from the rooftops that they’re going to the Super Bowl!!

That was until the Indianapolis Colts showed up at Soldier Field threw water on that fire, beating them 19-11. However, the score was not indicative of the beating that they took at the hands of the Colts.

First of all, let’s talk about their 3-0 record. Yes, 3-0 is 3-0 but it ain’t 3-0 going to the Super Bowl 3-0. They hadn’t played anybody in the first three weeks. Neither of those teams had a win between them at the time. They beat the Lions, Giants and Falcons. So slow your roll playa.

The Colts came in with the league’s No.1 defense and proved every bit of it. They literally kept the Bears out of the red zone for 58 minutes and 25 seconds of a 60 minute game. That’s called being manhandled at the crib. A boy walked up on the porch and took their shoes while Big Momma was standing in the window.

The only thing that kept the Bears from getting blown out of the joint was the Colts inability to score touchdowns in the red zone. They left at least three additional touchdowns on the field in the first half. It literally should have been 28-3 at the break and who knows how bad it would have gotten.

After that Bears performance on Sunday I hope that we can enjoy the rest of the season in peace by having some tempered attitudes about the Monsters of the Midway going forward.

Cheer for your team but let’s be realistic. I’m the biggest Oklahoma Sooner fan there is but I learned the hard way more than 10 years ago to stop putting the cart before the horse. The Sooners play well all season and then get blasted in the bowl game or like recently in the College Football Playoff.

So when they win regular season games I keep my mouth shut about winning national titles until they actually win another one. Bears fans could learn a thing or two from me. Enjoy the wins but shut up bragging because when you lose games like this one, boyz come knocking at your door and you’ve got to open it. Stop me when I start lyin’!
