Why Victor Oladipo has boyz runnin’ around here sayin’ “Paul Who?”

Victor Oladipo's ballin' right now bruh!!! Photo: Andy Lyons/Getty Images

Last summer when Paul George finally told boyz that he was ready to dip and go to LA everybody and their baby’s momma with a 317 area code freaked out. When the Pacers finally dealt the dun to Oklahoma City for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis they really went nuts! Short of jumpin’ out of windows cats where givin’ up their season tickets or at least threatenin’ to give them up. All of the fake media-types, includin’ myself, said that they wouldn’t win but 25 games this season.

Well playas…they’ve won 16 in the first little over a month and a half of the season and Victor Oladipo is the reason why. Ole boy is becomin’ a great player right before our eyes and maybe he was always great but we just didn’t know it.

On Sunday he went nuts scorin’ 47 points on the Denver Nuggets to help lead the Pacers to a 126-116 win in overtime. Now boyz are sayin’, Paul Who?

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The dun is averagin’ 23.9 points per game and he’s a natural born leader!! Paul George never averaged more than 23.7 points per game in his career but of course this season isn’t over yet. However, he trendin’ in the right direction.

In his seven seasons with the Pacers, PG only averaged 18 points per game and he was NEVER a leader. And did I mention that he was 0-16 takin’ game winnin’ shots? Well I just did playa.

Oladipo has come in and completely erased the memory of Paul George and it isn’t even January. I’m just sayin’!

The biggest knock on Paul George after David West took off was that he didn’t want to assume the leadership role. Ole boy was constantly lookin’ for someone else to take over as the leader but he wanted the darn ball in clutch situations. Wheredeydodatat?

With Oladipo, everybody and their baby’s momma knows who’s gettin’ the rock and who’s shootin’ it now. There are no ifs, ands or buts about it. It’s Oladipo’s house now and he’s earned it.

The crowd was chantin’ MVP-MVP-MVP at the end of the game on Sunday and if he keeps playin’ the way he’s playin’ they legitimately have a case. He’s taken this franchise from rebuildin’ mode in July to bein’ the fifth best team in the East in just under two months. That’s NUTS!!!

Duns were tryin’ to give their tickets away last summer and now they’re tryin’ to talk a boy into givin’ them back. It’s been fun to watch this team so far and it’s only goin’ to get better now that they’ve got crazy confidence and a specified leader that everybody respects.

OKC comes in on Wednesday and it’s goin’ to be a mad house!!! The fans are already excited about it but the cats in the locker room are treatin’ it as just another game. Yeah right. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”

The caption under the photo isn’t real but its real talk!

  1. I thought you predicted 17 wins last spring then 20 wins early when got a glimpse of them in the fall. I don’t have time to re-read all your articles and keep up with my day job so could you recheck your “goat feed” and get back to us so we know if we should get your “crow dinner” ready for Christmas, New Years or Valentine Day?
