How Charlottesville has become oxygen to Colin Kaepernick’s movement! “Off to the Races”

All thirty-two NFL owners and most of the selfish fans that were on a mission to silence Colin Kaepernick have failed miserably. Cats thought that by not allowin’ this dun the opportunity to be signed to an NFL roster this season that it would silence the movement to make people aware of the racial and social injustice that still exists in this country.

Well playas…the movement has gotten bigger, stronger and faster thanks to the knuckleheads in Charlottesville runnin’ down the streets with torches. We’ve seen Marshawn Lynch and Michael Bennett, for lack of a better word, take the torch and sprint with it. We’ve seen white players like Chris Long and Justin Britt come along side of their teammates to show their support and on Monday night we saw twelve Browns players jump in the ride with Kaepernick and turn the music on full blast. They all took a knee and prayed durin’ the national anthem.

Boyz spoke with Browns rookie safety Jabrill Peppers after their win over the Giants and he had this to say, “There’s a lot of racial and social injustices in the world that are going on right now. We just decided to take a knee and pray for the people who have been affected and just pray for the world in general.”

Linebacker Christian Kirksey was the one who led the prayer told us this, “We did it out of respect,” Kirksey said. “No disrespect for anyone, we just felt like it was the right time and the need to do it.”

Then they talked to the first white player to take a knee durin’ the anthem and he blew boyz mind with the realest statement a player could give. What duns didn’t realize is that ole boy is married to a “sista” so therefore he has black children. He put it where the goats could get it when he spit, “I myself will be raising children that don’t look like me, and I want to do my part as well to do everything I can to raise them in a better environment than we have right now. So I wanted to take the opportunity with my teammates during the anthem to pray for our country and also to draw attention to the fact that we have work to do.”

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! These players aren’t livin’ in a make believe world like most of these fans and all of the owners think that they are. Folks think that because these cats are rich and famous that they don’t deal with the reality of racism in America. They get pulled over and racially profiled like the rest of us. They have family members that have to deal with this foolishness too.

So for someone to be selfish enough to tell a player to “shut up and play” is beyond ignorant. And to think that because they were goin’ to blackball Kaepernick and stop the movement was to be ignorant of the facts and naive of them at best. Like I keep tellin’ you boyz, the league is made up of rosters that are 70 percent black. Therefore, those players have like minds when it comes to racial and social injustice because they all are treated like the rest of us bruh.

Nobody’s excluded from this foolishness. I’m just happy to see that some of our white brothers in the league are showin’ the support that people needed to see. We didn’t get to this point with the equal opportunity laws etc. in this country without some white folks join in the protests.

You do realize that there were people that were called Abolitionists that helped slaves go north and get to freedom against the laws of the day right? You do realize that there were white folks marchin’ along side of Dr. King durin’ the Civil Rights Movement right? So why are you surprised that there are white folks that are comin’ along side of their teammates in 2017 to stand up for racial and social injustice?

Thank the events of Charlottesville for pushin’ the ride into the middle of the street. If it had not been for the White Supremacists yellin’ about how they want to get rid of the Jews, gays and lesbians the larger population would have continued to look at racism and social injustice as a black problem. Folks would have continued to discount what Kaeprenick was actually tryin’ shed light on. Now boyz have been reminded that racism is EVERYBODY’S problem.

If we’re truly family and we are truly one race then we’ve all got to come together to help change the world. If only black folks stood up to racial and social injustice. The powers that be would never hear it because there would be no reason for them to change. Why? Because we only make up 13 percent of the population and most folks would continue to act like the problem doesn’t exist. However, when the larger population of folks are affected by this foolishness like we saw in Charlottesville then it becomes real.

I’m glad to see that duns are serious about standin’ up to this foolishness now. Salute to boyz wantin’ to love each other and stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Sista: noun – a black woman

2) Spit: verb – to say

3) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

4) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
