Rebecca West, the British author, once said, “There is no such thing as conversation. It is an illusion. There are intersecting monologues, that is all.” Pierre Bayle, the French philosopher, gave it to us like this, “It is pure illusion to think that an opinion that passes down from century to century, from generation to generation, may not be entirely false.” Then Orson Welles put it where the goats can get it when spit, “We’re born alone, we live alone, we die alone. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we’re not alone.”

Well playas…these fake media-types have been makin’ a fuss out of Kevin Durant leavin’ Young Russ in the car alone. Ole boy made a statement on Friday night that should shut all of naysayers up about whether he cares two dead flies smashed about KD bein’ in Golden State. He put up the first 50 point triple-double since Kareem did it in 1975 in a 113-110 victory.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Young Russ has been waitin’ for the opportunity to run the show by himself and he didn’t waste any time. Hittin’ a boy up for 51 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists just fed the already hungry monster. It could go one or two ways bruh and more than likely it’s gonna start eatin’ away at the legs of the team.

First of all bruh, KD isn’t crazy. Nobody will say it publicly but it’s hard playin’ with Young Russ. On Friday night it happened to work out in a 3 point win. He started the game off ballin’ and sharin’ the basketball doin’ everything necessary to play team basketball. Then it got thick and ole boy did what drove KD out of town in the first place. He took over by takin’ terrible shots and gunnin the rest of the way’. Again, it worked out on Friday night. Of the 10 assists he had only two of them in the fourth quarter and in overtime.

Again bruh, I’m not hatin’ on this dun. I’m just tellin’ you that you need to peal the onion back and look at the game in it’s context. He took a career high 44 shots!!!! And he only made 17 of them. That’s shootin’ at 38 percent!!! Yes he scored 51 points but he took 44 SHOTS!!!! He’s possible to score 51 points. And again, it worked out because they won the freakin’!

Here’s the question that nobody’s askin’ themselves. If the dun had shared the rock in the fourth quarter would they even have had to go to overtime? No assists down the stretch and terrible shots would drive another superstar crazy! Luckily he’s in the ride all by himself now. So you’ll see more of this. Crazy numbers that may or may not translate into wins. Keep in mind that this was his 38th triple-double of his career and he hasn’t won jack. It’s not good for team chemistry. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Spit: verb – to say

2) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

3) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it.
