Why Warren Central’s David Bell is one of the special ones! “Work Ethic and DNA”

This kid is something that you don't see every day playa! So give him crazy respect today! Photo: TheJayGravesReport

Every now and then you run across a special athlete that boyz need to really appreciate watchin’ because they don’t make very many of them. There are millions of kids playin’ high school sports but there are very few that are freakish athletes, good students and humble people.

Well playas…if you haven’t already you need to get over to Warren Central to watch the incomparable junior David Bell on both the basketball court and the football field. He’s probably the most athletic kid I’ve seen at the high school level in more than 20 years!!! It’s crazy how talented this kid is.

In case you’ve been under a rock all hoop season he’s been an integral part of that monster hoop squad at Warren Central that straight up maulin’ boyz at 21-0 sittin’ at No.1 in the state. The whole team is full of athletes that can get up and down the floor like crazy. The guard play is nuts and the their bigs are fire!!

Put ya seat belts on when you walk into the arena because David Bell can and will jump out of the gym on a boy in a minute. Crazy alley-oops and old school yokes are comin’ whenever he’s on the floor. Talk about vertical inches bruh!!! It’s NUTS!!!!

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The crazy thing is, shootin’ hoop is this kid’s side hustle just to keep him in shape durin’ the offseason. He’s the best football player in the state hands down. Accordin’ to 247Sports he’s the No.1 recruit in Indiana, the No.12 ranked wide receiver in America and ranked 71st overall nationally.

That’s means that he can go!!! Through the end of his junior season he’s caught 155 passes for 2,925 yards and 33 touchdowns!! Wheredeydodatat? He had more than 1,000 yards receivin’ last season and in his mind it wasn’t a great year. That’s the mentality of this kid. Always lookin’ to be great.

I’m not just blowin’ smoke bruh. Everybody and their baby’s momma has offered him a scholarship. He’s been offered by Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Nebraska, Michigan State, Purdue and darn near anybody else with 100 yards to play on. And when I say that he’s special! He’s special!!!

Like I said, if you haven’t had a chance to see him play either sport you’re missin’ out because they don’t make people like him very often. I cover pro sports as well and one thing I’ve learned over the years is that you’re not gettin’ to the next level unless you’ve got the DNA.

Let me put it where the goats can get it. DNA gets you to the league and work ethic keeps you in the league.

I see parents spendin’ every dime they have on trainers, movin’ their kids from one school to the next and holdin’ their child back to get an advantage etc. None of that matters at the end of the day playa. If the child doesn’t have the DNA they won’t become what you’ve spent all of your hard earned money and time lookin’ for.

Work ethic is VERY important but DNA is the MOST important. David Bell has an abundance of both!!! If you wanna see what greatness looks like you better pay attention to the lil’/big homie over at Warren Centra!! He’s one of the special ones. Salute young thunder cat and stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Yoke: verb – to dunk aggressively

2) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

3) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”

The caption under the photo is real talk today!
