Tennessee Titans wide receiver Rishard Matthews was on ESPN’s NFL Live on Tuesday and was fired up about what President Trump had to say about the players kneelin’. So as a result ole boy says that he’ll kneel until a Trump apologizes. Here’s what the dun had to say,
“I plan to kneel until the president apologizes for the comments that he made because I felt like those were very disrespectful comments that he made. The league is made up of I think over 70 percent of African-Americans so the people that would be kneeling for this cause would be African-Americans. To keep it honest, he was calling a lot of us and he was calling me an S.O.B. and that’s not OK and very disrespectful. So, I plan to kneel until the president apologizes.”
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! This cat is fired up because ole boy called him a name so he’s kneelin’ in defiance of bein’ called an S.O.B. and not in protest of people bein’ brutalized by the police or for racial and social injustice. It wasn’t until the President called you something crazy that you decided to step up and ride with Kaepernick or did you? Like I said in the crazy Hot Joint entitled “Insulted” on Sunday boyz weren’t thinkin’ about how the owners were treatin’ Kaepernick or the fact that he was protestin’ police brutality, racial and social injustice because only a few cats stepped up and had his back. I’m talkin’ but y’all ain’t listenin’!
Now every man has a right to protest or not but don’t jump in the ride now that ole boy’z insulted the very few that were actually protestin’!! If you hadn’t taken a knee before last week he wasn’t even talkin’ about you bruh. But now you wanna get in the ride. He was talkin’ about the real G’s that were actually protestin’.
Therefore, Rishard Mathews can keep that knee if it isn’t for the purpose of protestin’ police brutality, racial and social injustice bruh. Why? Because that’s what the protest is about. Not about tryin’ to force Trump into an apology because that’s one cat that isn’t goin’ anywhere near an “I’m sorry.” You can forget about that.
All these cats kill me jumpin’ in the ride like they were really down in the first place. We call that bein’ a fake G where I’m from. And again, I’m not sayin’ that everybody had to participate but don’t force your way into the whip now that Trump called the chosen few out of their names.
I think that it’s shameful that the league nor the players stood up for Kaepernick and acknowledged his reason for the protest in the first place. We saw all types of owners lockin’ arms and even Jerry Jones fakin’ a knee with his team this week. But aren’t they the same owners that blackballed Kaepernick for takin’ a knee in protest of police brutality, racial and social injustice?
