Why the Pacers need to move Paul George! “Business Never Personal”

Boyz all around the NBA are starin’ down the barrel of the trade deadline at 3pm eastern time today. So it’s either put up or shut up! The Indiana Pacers have some decisions to make too. Trade Paul George or keep him? That’s the question.

After only two days on the job Magic Johnson is not playin’ with these boyz out here. He’s already had Jim Buss and Mitch Kupchak pushed out of the ride like ole Eddie Kane Jr. and he’s been on the phone with Larry Bird checkin’ his options on a possible Paul George trade.

Let’s it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! I told you boyz last week in the crazy Hot Joint entitled “Watchin’ and Listenin'” that the Pacers would be better off tradin’ Paul George than keepin’ him.

Why? Because the dun won’t commit to signin’ an extension with the Pacers. His contract expires at the end of the 2017-18 season. So if they can’t lock him down before that joint is up you’re better off movin’ him.

Otherwise, he’s goin’ to dip on the Pacers and they’ll get absolutely nothin’ for him. So Bird’s got a decision to make today playa. Keep the dun or get some pieces for him now?

I say get some pieces for now. If they make a trade with Magic they could get at least 3 pieces and a 2017 first round pick. The Pacers are just a middle of the road playoff team now with Paul George so movin’ him doesn’t completely destroy you. They’ll probably be just as good with some pieces to build for the future with.

PG’s costin’ them $18M right now and he’s not worth the $18M in wins vs. losses and playoff advancement. Trade that dun and keep it movin’. It’s business never personal. Stop me when I start lyin’!
