How stupid does the San Francisco 49ers have to feel this mornin’ havin’ to announce that they are not only goin’ to fire Chip Kelly but they’re puttin’ the GM Trent Baalke in the ride with him? After a dismal 2-13 season, well we may as well say 3-13 because what makes me think that they’ll win today knowin’ that they’re about the gut the joint, it’s time to move on from the Chip Kelly project. The 49ers have fired two coaches in the two years since they ran Jim Harbaugh out of town.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! What sense did it make to run Harbaugh out of town because he wanted his bread and wanted to run the entire front office? You’re losin’ your shirt firin’ coaches that can’t win and you’re firin’ the GM anyway. At the very least you could still be winnin’ and you wouldn’t need a GM because that’s what Harbaugh told you he could be anyway.
