Is it just me or does Nick Saban completely get on your nerves actin’ like everything rubs him the wrong way? We’ve seen press conference after press conference where this dun is irritated with everything from the sound of crickets to the sound of a darn door closin’ to reporters simply askin’ him about the success of his team and then he looks at everybody else like they’re crazy.
Now the dun is complainin’ about the turnaround time between the college football playoff semifinal game and the national title game in Atlanta on Monday night. Bama played on this past Monday night in New Orleans in the Sugar Bowl and didn’t finish packin’ up until 1am so they had to stay an additional night.
His team will be in Tuscaloosa for three days before goin’ to Atlanta to play Georgia for the national title on Monday. In other words, they’ve got the same freakin’ week that they had all season long to prepare for the regular season games. Now he jumpin’ out of the birthday cake butt naked sayin, “Someone has to think about the players and not what’s convenient for the media or TV.” Really bruh?
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The fact that boyz were thinkin’ about media and TV is the only reason Alabama is in the freakin’ playoff in the first place!!! Stop with this foolishness!! Bama didn’t even play for it’s own conference title and he’s sittin’ around complainin’ about the darn turnaround time for the national championship? The same championship he plays in seems like every year! Give me a freakin’ break Nick!!
Georgia played in Los Angeles, went to double overtime that didn’t end until after 9pm eastern standard time. So they were on the same foolish schedule that your team was on. Stop it! And nobody’s listenin’ to you complain because you keep winnin’ the darn national title under these same conditions. You’re on the verge of winnin’ your sixth national title of your career. Stop it!!! You don’t get any sympathy. Play the darn game!!
The only person with more titles than Saban is Bear Bryant with six at Alabama. There are only three other guys with as many as Saban and that’s Bernie Bierman (Minnesota), Woody Hayes (Ohio State) and Howard Jones (1 with Yale and 4 with USC).
So stop the whinin’ Nick, show up to Atlanta and play the darn game. This has become old hat to you and your players. Stop actin’ like this is brand new to you and cut the fake tryin’ to be humble foolishness. We know that you’re a jerk and it’s cool. Highly successful people typically are. Nobody will trip if you come off cocky about winnin’ as much as you do because you’ve earned it. Just stop insultin’ our intelligence with these antics of tryin’ to act like everything bothers you because people recognize that you’re great at what you do. Stop me when I start lyin’!
