Lao Tzu, the ancient Chinese philosopher, once said, “When you are content to be simply yourself and don’t compare or compete, everybody will respect you.” Albert Einstein gave it to us like this, “Everyone should be respected as an individual, but no one idolized.” Then Bryant H. McGill, the well-known author, broke it down like a G at hood convention when he spit, “One of the most sincere forms of respect is actually listening to what another has to say.”
Well playas…Jim Harbaugh’s hood credibility just went up 1000 percent! Why? Because he’s willin’ to listen to his players. On Saturday before his Wolverines beat the brakes off of Penn State at the crib 48-10. Five of his players raised their fists durin’ the National Anthem. Many of these fake media-types got bent out of shape about it and wanted to know what Harbaugh thought about it and what he would do. Many of these duns were expectin’ for him to respond like ole ignorant Bobby Knight did a few days ago but ole boy handled it like a G. He simply said, “I’ve been thinking a lot about this over the last four, five, six weeks. Because I am the football coach doesn’t mean I can dictate to people what they believe. I support our guys. I think this is something, it’s not going away, it’s gonna keep happening.”
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Jim Harbaugh just destroyed the recruitin’ game for 2017 and beyond playa. What cats like ole dull Dabo Swinney doesn’t understand is that 80 percent of his roster is black and most of them feel the same way about what’s goin’ on in the world when it comes to racial profilin’, racial injustice, systemic racsim and the police. So the for Harbaugh to handle this situation like this is huge.
Don’t think for one minute that those players in that locker room won’t run through a freakin’ wall for him this mornin’! Why? Because he told them that he respects them as human beings!! Not just some duns that showed up on campus to help him win games and make him more money. And please don’t think for one minute that Big Momma isn’t in love with “Coach Harboo!” You already know that Big Momma can’t pronounce anything outside of her comfort zone. So don’t even trip.
On the opposite end of the spectrum Dabo shot himself in the foot talkin’ crazy last week when he said that “people that don’t like it should move to another country.” Understand me playa, boyz heard him loud and clear and if they wanna act like they didn’t, Big Momma did!!
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times, all people want in this country is to be treated fairly and with some respect. Stop me when I start lyin!
