Why James Dolan has handled the Oakley aftermath like a sucker! “Foul Balls”

"How do you think this is gonna look bruh?"

Robert Anton Wilson, the author and novelist, once said, “Of course I’m crazy, but that doesn’t mean I’m wrong.” Thomas Jefferson broke it down like this, “Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude.” Denis Waitley, the motivational speaker, put it where the goats could get it when he spit, “Don’t dwell on what went wrong. Instead, focus on what to do next. Spend your energies on moving forward toward finding the answer.”

Well playas…ole dull James Dolan is doin’ way too much in tryin’ to move past this whole Charles Oakley foolishness. On Sunday this dun jumped off of the deep end with a stone tied around his neck when he ran out and found Latrell Sprewell. He had the dun sittin’ next to him at the Garden and Larry Johnson sittin’ next to him. That’s called doin’ too much patna!

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Ole boy is on overkill because he knows that he was wrong for gettin’ on the radio and tellin’ boyz that Oakley had a drinkin’ problem to try to justify why they put the dun out. They were already dead wrong with the way they put out the press release by sayin’ that “they hope that he gets the help that he needs.”

Now again, like I told you boyz last week in the Hot Joint entitled “Beef” and even on the “Real Playa Podcast” on Saturday mornin’ that Dolan had every right to put that dun out of the Garden. Why? Because Oakley’s had beef with him for years and he fell off into the joint with the Wish Factor. So if you grew up in ANYBODY’S HOOD, USA you already know that you can’t roll up on a boy that you’ve got beef with and expect for it not to pop off. And the dun with the most money is typically goin’ to win. Why? Because he’s callin’ all of the shots. Why? Because he owns the joint.

The New York Times did a story in 2016 that explained that there’s been beef  between the two sayin’ that Oakley’s “been estranged from the Knicks organization for years, a rift that stems, at least in part, from Oakley’s inability to keep some of his more caustic opinions to himself.”  In other words he’s talkin’ crazy to a boy. In that same story Oakley is quoted as sayin’, “He won’t meet. I want to sit down to talk to him. I want me and him in a room. And lock the door. Lock that door! I mean, he can have the police outside the door.”

C’mon bruh! When a boy says something like that he’s essentially tellin’ a boy that he wants to touch him. Then on the  Friday before all of this foolishness popped off a New York restaurant posted this on their Instagram account an interview with Oakley and he said, “I’m a Knicks fan, I played here for 10 years, I love the Knicks, I love New York,” he said. “I wish ’em all the luck and success on the basketball court. I don’t know why I’m not welcome into the Garden.”

So let’s take it to the streets bruh. If you’ve been beefin’ with a boy for the past 3 or 4 years and then he’s shows up at your house party. You already know that you and the fellas would tap that dun up just for showin’ up. So I’ve got no problem with Dolan puttin’ that dun out. Why? Because if Oak was really there to check out the Knicks and only the Knicks, there were 20,888 other seats he could have sat in instead of buyin’ a seat within ear hustlin’ distance of Dolan. The duns he’s got beef with.

So in my opinion, Dolan had every right to throw him out but the way he handled the aftermath was foul. To tell boyz that he hopes that “he gets the help that he needs” was a complete foul ball. And then to suggest that ole boy had a drinkin’ problem was a punk move.

Bruh, just keep it 100 and say, “I wasn’t about to play with that dun! He tried to roll up on me and he got dealt with! He forgot that I own the joint and I write everybody’s check up in this piece. I’m not about to beef with a boy at all. I’ve got too much bread to be woofin’ with anybody especially a former player.” If he would have just said that I would have been cool with that. You don’t have to like it but it would have been real.

He went out like a sucker by not handlin’ it like a G. It’s okay to tell boyz that you aren’t about to keep goin’ back and forth with a dun that should know better. Oakley is 53 years old bruh. Boyz kill me talkin’ about how Dolan owes him something. Oakley played for the Knicks for 10 years and he got paid the entire time he was there. So if he and Dolan don’t see eye to eye then it is what it is but Dolan owes him nothin’. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Spit: verb – to say

2) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

3) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it
