Warren Buffett once said, “Risk comes from not knowing what you’re doing.” Ray Bradbury broke it down like this, “Living at risk is jumping off the cliff and building your wings on the way down.” Then Mark Zukerberg put it where the goats could get it when he spit, “The biggest risk is not taking any risk… In a world that is changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks.”
Well playas…in an NFL draft where nothin’ is guaranteed. Takin’ risks with your draft status would be straight up ignorant!!! For some strange reason three days before the draft duns find it necessary to put boyz on blast. The word is that former Michigan safety, Jabrill Peppers, produced a diluted sample, which is equivalent to a positive drug test by NFL standards, at the Combine back in March.
A diluted sample is just as bad as a positive drug test because typically when boyz that are tryin’ to beat the test drink excessive amounts of water or Gatorade to mask the drugs. NFL got hip to this foolishness years ago. Now ole boy told the league that he was sick prior to comin’ to the combine and drank excessively, which could be true. He also has a history of crampin’ so he drank a lot of liquids to prepare for the job interview. Makes sense to me. However, now boyz are diggin’ through his background even more before the draft just to make sure the dun doesn’t have a problem that they need to know about.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! He’ll probably still get drafted in the first round because he’s that good. I just think that it’s foul that the information is just now comin’ out and the Combine was more than a month ago. If there was a story a month ago then tell it a month ago. To wait until the week of the draft to drop it is foul. It wasn’t like the dun actually dropped a positive test and if it was positive tell it then and not now.
What if the dun is tellin’ the truth? What if he was sick and takin’ additional fluids to prepare for the biggest job interview of his life? I’m just sayin’, what if? Now he could be dirty for all I know bruh but what if? I just think that it’s irresponsible to drop it now. Stop me when I start lyin’!
