Why it’s crazy that Nike Sibande isn’t an Indiana All Star bruh! “Ridiculous!!”

James E. Faust  once said, “Unfortunately, some of our greatest tribulations are the result of our own foolishness and weakness and occur because of our own carelessness or transgression.”  Well playas…that hits the nail on the head for the dun that put together the Boyz Indiana All-Star team that left Nike Sibande from Indianapolis Crispus Attucks off of the team!

Now everybody and their baby’s momma is tryin’ to give, Charlie Hall, the Indiana All Star games director a pass for leavin’ the kid off. But if you’ve been watchin’ high school basketball in this state with a blind fold on you would already know that Nike is supposed to be on that team and startin’! His name is Nike for cryin’ out loud and he’s live up to the hype of his name alone!!!

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Now I’m not goin’ to call names out of boyz that shouldn’t have been named to the team because it’s an honor to be selected. However, there are only so many spots and there is no way that boyz should be suitin’ up without THIS kid! No way!!! Now on some real talk, there were several kids that should have made the squad and didn’t but Nike is worth screamin’ about.

Oh I’m talkin’ crazy? The dun is 6’4″ playin’ the guard position averagin’ 22 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. He shot the lights out of the gym at 41 percent from behind the arc. Wheredeydodatat in high school bruh? Not only did he ball outta control this year but he led Crispus Attucks to the Class 3A State Championship where he went nuts on a boy on the biggest stage scorin’ 23 points and grabbin’ 8 rebounds!! Did I mention that Crispus Attucks hadn’t won a state title since 1959 bruh? C’mon playa! This is the type of disrespect that upsets cats that really know the game of basketball.

They ran out and just threw some duns on the team that literally can’t hold this kid’s gym bag. He’s solid all the way around. I don’t know everything but I do know basketball as I cover the NBA and have been for the past 7 years. I know a hooper when I see one and Nike is a straight up hooper.

You want to keep the best kids in the state in the state durin’ their college playin’ careers? Stop disrespectin’ them while they’re in high school around this piece. Give them some love and treat them like they belong to us. Otherwise, you’ll keep askin’ the dumb question, “Why can’t we sign our own kids and keep them in-state?”

Boyz are always sittin’ around lookin’ crazy when those same kids are playin’ all over the country in college but won’t play here. It’s foolishness like this that pushes them away. Nike is one of the top 6 kids in the state hands down and he’s not on the All Star team? You’ve got to be out of your mind! Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Wheredeydodatat: Hood for “Who does that?”

3) This piece: noun – Hood for this place.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”

The caption under the photo isn’t real but its real talk!
