Why idiot fans NEED to check themselves on tellin’ kids where to go to school! “Footsteps”

A man’s gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men. Proverbs 18:16

From high school to the pro level fans blow my mind actin’ like they own these players. When duns like LeBron, KD or Paul George decide to exercise their rights to free agency boyz go nuts and start burnin’ their jerseys, callin’ them everything but a child of God and threatenin’ their unborn children. However, they can handle it because they’re adults makin’ millions of dollars.

However, when these high school kids at 17 or 18 years old decide that they’re goin’ to a particular school the same fans go crazy tauntin’, harassin’ them on social media and callin’ them all types of names. It got so bad for one local player last year that he had to take the Twitter app off of his phone. I see it all of the time and it’s ridiculous. A local kid here in Indy just flipped his commitment from one of the in-state schools to go to an out of state football powerhouse and the fans around here acted a darn fool!

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! And let me give it to you in my ghetto vernacular. Straight G.I. style. “You ain’t payed am registration fee, bought am cleat or uniform, paid for am physical, drove him to am practice or set through am little league game. You haven’t been to am emergency room or stayed up for am homework fight at midnight to get him to this point.”

“I’ve got to be great so that those comin’ behind me can walk in my foot steps!”

Therefore, you don’t have am to say about where the kid decides to go to school. All you did was get on the bandwagon once the kid started gettin’ recruited. You didn’t know who these kids were until they started gettin’ offers. So how do you have a right to tell him where to go to school?

You don’t care one bit about whether the kid graduates or not. All you want him to do is contribute to the legacy of the school you cheer for. Four or five years from now you won’t care whether the kid walks durin’ graduation or makes it to the NFL or not. Therefore, close your darn mouth and let these kids go to school wherever they decide to go.

I’m happy that Romeo Langford hasn’t announced where he’s goin’ to school next year. I hope that he doesn’t give it up until after the season is over so that he doesn’t have to deal with the idiocy of fans around here that think that they own him.

It’s sickenin’ to see grown men and women screamin’ his name at these games tryin’ to literally coerce him to go to IU because they’re IU fans or graduates. I’m an IU grad and could care less where the child decides to go to school. Why? Because it’s his decision not mine or anybody else’s.

When we see kids announcin’ their schools of choice we should be applaudin’ them for doin’ the work that he took to receive a scholarship to further their educations regardless of where there decide to go. That’s what responsible people are supposed to do and now you can stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

3) am: adverb – NOT a single time.

4) G.I.: noun – Gary, Indiana

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
