The 2017-18 Golden State Warriors were the best basketball team that I’ve ever seen in my life bruh! I’m fifty so I’ve seen a lot of teams and a lot of hoopers come and go. That foolishness that we just saw this past year was nuts!! Not only did they dominate the regular season but they sprinted through the playoffs like wet toilet paper on a boy. They went 16-1 in the PLAYOFFS and darn near cake walked through the Finals!!
The crazy thing about it is that they’ll probably be better in 2017-18 by the looks of their bench right now bruh!! They kept Andre’ Iguodala by signin’ him to a 3 year deal worth $48 million and the duns just swooped Nick Young up for a 1 year deal worth $5.2 million. NUTS!!!!!!
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! KD took less bread for them to be able to sign other cats! He inked a 2 year deal worth $53 million which was $7 million less per year than he could have gotten. His teammates were hyped but the players union ain’t jumpin’ up and down singin’ that DJ Khaled “All I Do Is Win” joint at all. Boyz are NOT happy about cats leavin’ money on the table.
It’s about to be NUTS in Golden State bruh! That startin’ five with Iguodala and Nick Young comin’ off of the bench? There are no words for the foolishness we’re about to see in Oakland. Put ya seat belts on and hold on bruh!
I didn’t see the Celtics sprint through boyz from 1957 to 1969 when they won titles in ’57, ’59-’66, ’68 and ’69. I didn’t see them with Bill Russell, Frank Ramsey, John Havilcek, Sam Jones and Bob Cousey but I’ve heard about it. Straight foolishness!!!
That’s what Golden State is about to become, at least for the next season or two. Nobody’s goin’ to do what Bill Russell’s Celtics did because there’s just too much talent and bread floatin’ around the league for a boy to keep a strong hold on it for too long.
