Why duns like Western Michigan will NEVER play for a national title! “Protocol”

Vladimir Lenon once said, “A lie told often enough becomes the truth.” Winston Churchill gave it to us like this, “A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.” Then my boy John F. Kennedy kicked the door in when he spit, “The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie, deliberate, contrived and dishonest, but the myth, persistent, persuasive and unrealistic.”

Well playas…what blows me away about these fake media-type is their ability to lie to folks and how duns will hang on their every word. Boyz were actually askin’ the question as to whether Western Michigan should even be considered when boyz start talkin’ Final 4 because they’re the only other team in America besides Alabama that’s undefeated. Really bruh?

I heard some cat with a job in talk radio say that if a boy is undefeated they should at least be considered because anything could happen. This dun said, “We need a Cinderella just like in the NCAA Tournament.”

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! This is football bruh! A contact sport!! Where money and facilities make a world of difference in the type of human being that will walk out of those facilities after a few months let alone a few years.

It’s college football, for cryin’ out loud! It’s not the NFL with 32 teams!!! There are 128 teams in the FBS or Division 1 college football and there are at least 4 or 5 different levels of play at play!! Not one like in the NFL.

The MAC, American Athletic, Conference USA, Mountain and West, Sunbelt conferences aren’t competin’ at the same level as the freakin’ Power 5 week in and out! So there is no way to have a legitimate system where EVERYBODY competin’ will get a fair shot at winnin’ a national championship.

Now you could make it fair but you’ve got to make several different leagues or create just one with 32 teams like the NFL. That way 12 can make it to the playoffs and your problem is solved. However, you would destroy everything that we love about college football.

This sport is built on geography, tradition and pageantry and if you dissolved the conferences as we know them and took the best 3 or 4 teams out of each conference the tradition that makes college football so great is shot.

The culture of the SEC is unmatched in America!! The Big Ten, Pac 12, Big 12 and ACC have their own vibes too. We’ve already seen some of the traditional rivalries die due to boyz takin’ off for the bread like Nebraska dippin’ to the Big 10 from the Big 12. So there’s no longer the Oklahoma/Nebraska joint. Then Texas A&M bounced to go to the SEC. So the  Texas/Texas A&M game on the Friday after Thanksgiving is no more. Could you imagine if all of the conferences were to implode because some dun wanted a fair and balanced playoff! What?!! And destroy the all of the traditions?

The only duns that would benefit from that foolishness would be the programs chosen to play in the 32 team league and the other college presidents would NEVER sign off of that foolishness. On some real talk, 17 of the 32 that got in wouldn’t even be happy signin’ off on it because there are only about 15 programs with the foundation to actually win a national title and everybody knows it.

What 15? I’ll name them: USC, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Ohio St, Michigan, Penn State, Alabama, Florida, LSU, Georgia, Florida St, Miami, Auburn and Notre Dame if their administration would get their heads out of the sand. Why? Because the rich get richer in college football. The more you when the better players you get to select. So what do you tell the other schools? It was nice doin’ business with you?

Schools like Michigan State, Wisconsin, UCLA etc. are good but they’ll never win a national title because they don’t have enough horses. And duns like Purdue, Miss St. and Arizona are just hopin’ to go to a bowl game bruh. So the presidents aren’t goin’ to vote to get rid of their beloved conferences to satisfy a chosen few.

Just with the onset of the College Football Playoff the existin’ bowls are startin’ to suffer but boyz are still gettin’ guaranteed bread.

If there isn’t a bowl for Purdue to play in after they’ve won 6 to 8 games on a GREAT year what are those kids even playin’ for. Sure every 30 years or so they’ll get a player that everyone slept on like Drew Brees or Bob Grease and win the Big Ten Championship. However, they won’t ever play for a national title. It is what it is.

So by doin’ anymore damage to the existin’ bowl games we cheat college football of the pageantry that is, college football. It’s a playoff startin’ week one anyway. I still hear boyz sayin’ that those bowls are meaningless anyway. Well… not to the kid playin’ at Missouri, Ole Miss or Bowling Green. The bowl game is their Super Bowl, not to mention the revenue that the schools receive as a result of playin’ in those bowls.

Do you realize that each bowl has a guaranteed payout just for showin’ up bruh? If you’re fortunate enough to get to one of the major bowls it’s a $17 million payday whether you’re playin’ in the title game or not. The mid level bowls like the Chick-Fil-A, Cotton and Outback pay $3 million each. The freakin’ Sun Bowl was payin’ boyz just a few years ago $1.9 million. Even if you play in a bottom tier bowl like the Emerald it’s worth $850,000 to your school.

So again my brother, there is no legitimate way to include duns like Western Michigan in the mix without destroyin’ the game itself. And do you really believe that the Broncos would be undefeated if they were in the Big Ten? C’mon bruh! Stop it! You sound crazy! Enjoy the season for what it is and have a blast with College GameDay on the yard and keep it movin’! Stop me when I start lyin’!
