I know that everybody and their baby’s momma looks at the state of Indiana as a basketball state when it comes to high school hoops and they SHOULD. Why? Because we ain’t playin’ around here. Check the numbers on the amount of duns goin’ D1 EVERY year and look around the NBA and count the cats startin’ in the league that are from Indiana. I’ll wait. However, boyz need to stop sleepin’ on the fact that they are playin’ some serious football around this piece too!!! Especially in the MIC (Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference) where all the playas play!!!
Let me put it where the goats can get it. Every year this conference is ranked in the Top 20 and in some years even in the Top 10 of high school football leagues in the country!!! There are only eight schools that make up the power house but you better bring your hard hat when you show up to play, playboy!
You’ve got Center Grove, Ben Davis, Warren Central, Lawrence Central, Lawrence North, Carmel, North Central, and Pike and they all can get down bruh. The conference was formed in 1996 and ever since, the best players in the state reside there. Yeah I know there are some legit cats sprinkled here and there around the state but if you want the best of the best in tall order you better holla at the MIC!!!
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Center Grove has won the conference the past two seasons but it’s always a battle with Ben Davis, Carmel and Warren Central at the top!! Since 1996 Warren Central has won eight conference titles. Center Grove has suddenly kicked in the door like the feds with seven. Ben Davis ain’t playin’ either with six and Carmel has enough to fill up all five fingers. Therefore, what I’m tryin’ to say is that boyz aren’t just showin’ up and givin’ up the goods without a fight. In my Puffy voice, “It’s real in the field!”
Since 2001, a team from the MIC has won the highest class state championship EVERY year except for 2010 when Fishers won it. That’s NUTS!!! It’s not a game bruh!! These boyz are for real!
Warren Central is walkin’ into the joint this season ranked No.22 in the COUNTRY bruh! It’s not a game out here!!!
I’m excited to see who emerges from the pack in 2017 because there are so many great players this year. As trainin’ camp officially kicks off today I’ll be floatin’ around to check boyz out. There aren’t any secrets that 2017 will be strictly for those that want it. All I’ve got to say is, IT’S FOOTBALL SEASON PLAYBOY AND I’M ALL IN! Are you?
