While everybody was checkin’ for Paul George, Steven Adams went to work on the Pacers! “Business”

Everybody and their Uncle Leroy, includin’ ESPN, showed up at Bankers Life Fieldhouse to see the return of Paul George. Ole boy couldn’t hit an elephant in the butt with a base fiddle and that’s the edited version but he was able to knock down two free throws with 10.7 seconds left to seal the win for the Thunder 100-95 and get outta town.

Literally, the dun couldn’t have hit water if he’d fallen off of an ocean liner last night bruh. He finished the night 3 of 14 from the field, 2 of 7 from 3-point range, with 2 rebounds, 4 turnovers and 12 points.

The crazy thing is, Melo and Young Russ were just as bad shootin’ the rock too. They were 4 of 14 and 3 of 17 from the field finishin’ with 12 and 10 points respectively. However, Stephen Adams brought his hard hat and took the Pacers lunch money and sneakers all night. While everybody and their baby’s momma where worried about what PG was doin’ and Adams went to work on the Pacers finishin’ with 23 points with 14 of them in the first half.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! I thought that it was real petty for fans to be upset with a boy for tellin’ the Pacers a year in advance that he wanted out. Like I wrote in the crazy Hot Joint on Wednesday entitled “Solid” that they need to be thankin’ him for tellin’ the organization early enough for them to do a trade. He could have dipped in summer of 2018 without tellin’ them a thing and they would have been stuck with nothin’ in return like the Cavs when LeBron took off to Miami. But as fans they can’t see the logic in that.

Victor Oladipo is ONLY here because Paul George told boyz he wanted out a year in advance. I say thank the dun and give him a pound instead of booin’ all night. Every time Paul touched the rock they booed from the time the dun came out to warm up durin’ shoot around until the clock read zeros.

In the middle of all of that foolishness Steven Adams went to work on boyz and kept the Thunder afloat. I kept sayin’ that it’s goin’ to be a problem down the stretch because OKC is still in this game even though their big three are sucking’ wind right now from the field. They couldn’t buy a bucket but they were in the ball game every step of the way because of Adams.

After the ball game Paul kept it real when he said, “Yeah, I’m happy this circus is over with. Everybody can move on. I understood what the environment was going to be, so it wasn’t a surprise.”

I cared nothin’ about that foolishness so I asked him about playin’ in the west as opposed to playin’ in the East because he’s played his entire career in the East. Here’s what he had to say:

I’m always goin’ to side with the player in their right to exercise free agency and to be able to dictate where they want to play once their contract is up. The organization doesn’t ask the player for their approval when they decide one day to trade them in the middle of the season or if they decide to cut a boy. So if Paul George wanted out of Indianapolis he had every right to leave when his contract was up. It was on the Pacers to trade him to get value for him and they did. It’s business never personal and stop me when I stop lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
