What LeBron did for Steph that Jordan should have done for him! “The Nod”

"I got ya back bruh! These old heads keep on hatin' don't they bruh?

Thomas Paine one of the Founding Fathers of the United States, once said, “It is not a field of a few acres of ground, but a cause, that we are defending, and whether we defeat the enemy in one battle, or by degrees, the consequences will be the same.” George Grosz, the German artist, gave it to us like this, “I stood up as best I could to their disgusting stupidity and brutality, but I did not, of course, manage to beat them at their own game. It was a fight to the bitter end, one in which I was not defending ideals or beliefs but simply my own self.” Then Simone de Beauvoir, the French writer, put it where the goats could get it when she spit, “Defending the truth is not something one does out of a sense of duty or to allay guilt complexes, but is a reward in itself.”

Well playas…where I’m from defendin’ the truth or just your homeboy is ALWAYS out of a sense of duty not reward! You can keep the rewards because they won’t keep a boy loyal to you when it counts. Earlier this week LeBron did for Steph Curry what Jordan should have done for him years ago. He stood up for him or at the very least came along side of him when cats were comin’ at him sideways. With all of these playa hatin’ old heads talkin’ reckless against Steph, LeBron did what the O.G. is supposed to do for the young gun comin’ up makin’ a name for himself. He put his word on him. For you boyz that don’t understand what that means it’s to essentially to say, “Back up off of my boy because ain’t gone be to many more of them #@%!$#!”

Durin’ an interview with USA Today Sports LeBron said, “Yeah, for me personally in my career I’ve done nothing but big-up the guys who paved the way for us.  I’m respectful to all the guys who paved the way, the greats, guys who were role players, guys who were part of a championship team or was not. I’ve always been respectful, so it does kind of suck when you’ve got guys who played before us and paved the way for us (and) …they like to talk down on a lot of our players, saying, ‘Well if they played in our era it wouldn’t be the same.’”

He even brought up when ole dull Dennis Rodman was reckless with his name back in 2013 when he said that if LeBron played durin’ his era he would be just an average player. Now when a boy makes a statement like that he’s overflowin’ with hate bruh. LeBron? An average player in any era is a boy smokin’ crack and eatin’ heroin and I wouldn’t put anything past Rodman bruh. LeBron goes on to say,  “And they say the same things about Steph, ‘If Steph played in our era, then we’d be more physical with him and we’d go at him.’ And it sucks because we’re just trying to carry the torch for the next group to come behind us.”

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Boyz were killin’ LeBron before he ever won a championship in Miami. Just talkin’ reckless and Mike just sat in the cut and let it happen. Even though LeBron looked up to him comin’ out of high school and the dun had been a mentor for him when he was about to get drafted. Then once LeBron started ballin’ he backed up off of him and left him hangin’ so that the wolves could eat him alive. Now Mike forgot all about the criticism he used to get about not bein’ able to get out of the freakin’ first round of the playoffs in his first 3 years and not even makin’ it to the Finals until he’d been in the league 7 years. But you young boyz don’t remember that.

When I say young boyz I’m talkin’ about any cat 38 or younger. Why? Because a dun 38 was only 6 when Mike got drafted in 1984 bruh! So you don’t even know what you were watchin’ at age 6 bruh. Jordan played 7 seasons before he ever won jack squat or went to a Finals but all of you young boyz don’t know that because all you can ever remember is wearin’ Jordan’s or watchin’ highlights of this dun winnin’ championships. If you’re goin’ to talk about it pimpin’ know the history of the game.

And if you’re gonna talk Mike you gotta at least be 45 years old to have seen the full career of Jordan and understand what you were lookin’ at. If you’re 45 you would have been 13 when the dun stepped onto the scene. At 13 you at least understood the game by then. At 6 all you know is who’s scorin’ the most points and that “if” you could count bruh.

But back to my original point playa, the O.G. controls what is said and isn’t said about the next dun comin’ up. Why? Because those are the rules of the streets. As the O.G. begins to pass the torch in the hood to the 1st Lieutenant that’s next in line to run the streets he’ll first put his name on him. Whether they’re ready for the title or not it’s on the O.G. to give him the nod to let boyz know that this is the chosen one. Once the nod is given the respect is given and boyz back off.

Well…it works the same way in the world of sports playboy. Michael Jordan is the G.O.A.T. or the O.G. in hood terms. Mike had the power to back boyz up off of LeBron years ago but in classic Jordan form he never said a word. The very player that LeBron has been constantly compared  to since he walked into the league has never once said something as simple as, “Listen bruh, LeBron is a great young player. He’s accomplished things in his career like go to multiple Finals and compete for titles that I was never able to do durin’ my first 7 years in the league. Sure, he has a long way to go but he’s probably one of the greatest young players that we’ve ever seen or will ever see. So I think ya’ll need to pull a Gin & Juice and back up off of him and sit yo cup down.” If Jordan had just done that boyz would have chilled on all of the LeBron hate because the G.O.A.T. had spoken. The O.G. had given the nod but he didn’t.

So for LeBron to come along side of Steph is huge. Whether you like him or not is irrelevant. He’s doin’ for Steph what Mike should have done for him and you gotta respect that. At least say something when you hear boyz hatin’ for no darn reason. And that’s the edited version. All of these suckas know that they’ve NEVER in their lives seen a boy shoot like this kid is shootin’. They’ve never seen a cat create and shoot off of the dribble like he’s doin’! Stop it! You sound crazy tryin’ to tell me otherwise. He’s the GREATEST shooter in the HISTORY of the league whether you put a hand in his face or not! And guess what play? Mike isn’t gonna give Steph the nod either. Why? Because he wants to be the G.O.A.T. forever and to give a boy the nod is to chip away at the INSTITUTION at that is the Jordan Brand! And that instituation has suckas all over the world believin’ that NOBODY will EVER be greater than Jordan.

And please stop tellin’ me about how boyz played such great defense back in the day when you saw scores of 135 and 140 points without even havin’ a 3 point shot!!! Stop it! You sound crazy!!! And stop me when I start lyin’!
