Warren Central keeps it’s composure, holds off a BEAST in Carson Steele, to beat Center Grove!

This kid is something that you don't see every day playa! So give him crazy respect today! Photo: TheJayGravesReport

Everybody and their baby’s momma’s nephew’s cousin have been waitin’ all summer for the openin’ game with Warren Central and Center Grove!! Are you kiddin’ me? No.4 vs No.3 to kick the season off? Wheredeydodatat? The atmosphere was NUTS and the fan experience was crazy! They know how to get it in over at Warren bruh! Trust me!! The music was off the hook and the Pit was rockin’!

Warren Central came in with a car full of horses that everybody was expectin’ to put in work. Duns like David Bell, Romeir Elliot and Jayden George just to name a few. Center Grove got off of the bus with no experience and a whole lot of swag! They came unto the field so cool with the all white funky uniforms that they had theme music like Shaft. It was crazy! They had no experience bruh but they had the confidence of a lion.

However, that inexperience kicked in the front door like the feds in the projects at 5 O’clock in the mornin’ early on in this game. They turned the rock over three times in the first half and by the time they looked up they were down 27-0 and the theme music was runnin’ out of the buildin’ with his tail between his legs playa.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! You can’t turn the ball over three times in the first half against anybody let alone Warren Central. Their junior wide receiver, David Bell, in my Big Momma voice, “Straight showed his butt tonight bruh!” And that’s the edited version. Ole boy had six catches for 150 yards and two touchdowns at the half!

Junior runnin’ back Romeir Elliot lit the joint up too scorin’ both of his 1 yard touchdowns within a minute of each other all in the first half.

Goin’ into the break boyz at Warren thought that they were goin’ to beat the brakes off of Center Grove. I talked to Coach Moore earlier in the week and he told me that he had a very inexperienced team gettin’ off of that bus tonight and the first half proved his point. However, somebody found the theme music hidin’ in the parkin’ lot and talked that dun into comin’ back into the stadium and gettin’ into the Center Grove huddle.

They came out of the break and put up 17 unanswered points and had Warren Central on their heals like Prince singin’ Purple Rain. A straight up freshman STUD by the name of Carson Steele put the Trojans on his back and went to work on Warren Central’s defense. In his debut as a high school runnin’ back he put up 133 against one of the best teams in the freakin’ country! Again, Wheredeydodatat?

He was the most impressive player on the field besides David Bell. However, I was probably most impressed with him because he was a freshman bruh!!! He was in the eight grade last year and was givin’ Warren the business.

Center Grove showed all of the character of a winnin’ program in that second half. Unfortunately, Warren Central knew how to win too and they had enough confidence to finish the Trojans off. Even though that were penalized on darn near every possession in the second half.

All in all it was a great ball game and an even better atmosphere!! Two great teams and I can’t wait to see Carson Steele once he figures out that he’s as good as advertised. He’s a BEAST!!! Stop me when I start lyin’!

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Ole boy: noun – whoever I’m talkin’ about at the time.

3) Wheredeydodatat?: “Hood for Who does that?”

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
