Trent Dilfer just wants boyz to be like Mike and Tiger! “Shut up and Play”

"I'm just really tellin' you boyz that I don't care because it doesn't affect me."

Richard Cecil, the 18th century Evangelical Anglican priest, once said, “The first step towards knowledge is to know that we are ignorant.” Benjamin Franklin gave it to us like this, “We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.” Then Grantland Rice, the sports writer, broke it down like a playa at a pimp convention when he spit, “A wise man makes his own decisions, an ignorant man follows the public opinion.”

Well playas…ole Trent Dilfer proved to the world just how ignorant he actually is this past Sunday mornin’ because instead of makin’ his own decisions he followed public opinion without even thinkin’ it through. Ole boy tried to blast Colin Kaepernick’s protest of police brutality, racial injustice and murder of unarmed black men in this country by actually tellin’ him to shut up because his job is to be quiet.

Now let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! This dun had the nerve to say on national television out of his OWN mouth that “people aren’t watching football because of social issues.” Really bruh? We know that you idiot! They’re watchin’ football because they love the game of football! However, those same duns that you love to watch on Sunday are REAL human beings that live in the REAL world with REAL family and friends that look just like them. So the same social issues that everybody that looks like them are experiencin’  has an effect on them too. You do realize that 70 percent of the players in NFL are black don’t you?

Boyz kill me actin’ like black pro athletes are supposed to be good, shut up and just play. Like ole dull Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods did for years. Go ahead and throw O.J. Simpson into that mix until he shot himself in the foot. People love it when powerful black folks try to assimilate and try to totally forget that they’re black.

That’s when boyz book ignorant dun’s like Lil’ Wayne so that he can come on a national sports show on Fox called “The Undisputed” and say that racism doesn’t exist because everybody comes to his shows. That’s the ignorance that boyz try to sell you bruh! Yo Lil’ Wayne!! Ask Ray Charles, the Temptations, Muddy Waters, James Brown and so on and so forth if they looked out into the audience in certain cities and saw only white or even a mixed crowd and thought that racism no longer existed? What it tells you Lil’ Wayne is that EVERYBODY likes rap music.

Duns loved Little Richard’s music and still hated black folks in the 1950’s bruh! People loved Otis Redding’s music and still didn’t want my parents livin’ next door to them. People loved the Four Tops but they didn’t want them eatin’ in their restaurants either. So you’re ignorant assessment of there not bein’ racism because duns come to your shows is asinine.

I just love the intelligence by which Kaepernick handled Trent Dilfer ridiculous comments. He was real smooth in the way he broke ole boy down. He said, “I think that’s one of the most ridiculous comments I’ve heard. To me, you are telling me that my position as a backup QB and being quiet is more important than people’s lives. I would ask him to really have a conversation with the families of people that have been murdered and see if he still feels that way. Because I bet that he doesn’t, just because he hasn’t experienced that type of oppression. I hope he goes home and really thinks about what he said and how it impacts not just (him) but how it impacts people whose lives are affected by these issues on a daily basis.” I guess there’s nothin’ else for me to say. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Spit: verb – to say

2) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

3) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it.
