The Real Playa Game of the Week: No.4 Center Grove vs No.3 Warren Central! “It’s Game Time Baby!”

IT’S FOOTBALL TIME IN INDIANA and all the talkers can go stand on the side lines playa! This is for Real Playas Only! Friday night lights is back in full effect. I’ll be coverin’ the M.I.C. all season and boyz are kickin’ things off like the SEC on the east side of Nap off of 16th street with No.4 Center Grove vs. No.3 Warren Central! Get ya popcorn!

There’s no easin’ into it bruh. Duns have to be ready to go all out Game 1. I was fortunate enough to visit with both head coaches in the preseason to do 2017 previews and by the time I was done talkin’ to each of them I was ready suit up and pull a hamstring.

Warren Central’s head coach Jayson West knows that he has a team full of horses but he always contains his enthusiasm. If their scrimmage against Jeffersonville last week is any indication of how good they are it’s gonna be a problem for a very inexperienced Center Grove squad openin’ up on the road.

Jayden George is throwin’ the rock for the Warriors and he’s got a wide receiver corps that’s ridiculous. If he gets time to find his receivers it could be a long night. The All-Everthing junior wide receiver David Bell has been hurt so I’m not sure if he will get to go on Friday night or not. However, Dajour Griffie and Dean Tate can hold it down if Bell isn’t available. I saw the both of them look like complete beasts a week ago in their scrimmage. Boyz are lookin’ for runnin’ back Romeir Elliot to carry the load but he’ll get some help from Jason Holland who can put in work too.

Center Grove comes into this ball game after losin’ a thriller in overtime in the state championship game to Carmel. It’s the most inexperienced team they’ve have in a dozen seasons accordin’ to head coach Eric Moore. Junior Jackson Moore will get the start at quarterback along with junior runnin’ back Cam Petty totin’ the rock and junior Sam Hohlt at the wingback.

The secret weapon for the Trojans is their punter P.J. Buck. Hopefully he can pin boyz inside of their own 20 yard line darn near half of the time like he did last year.

Because of the inexperience of Center Grove they can’t afford to make mistakes that will give Warren Central additional opportunities to score like turnin’ the football over. Now don’t get it twisted bruh, Coach Moore is still Coach Moore and it’s still Center Grove. So don’t think that they’re ranked No.4 because they know how to put on their uniforms. They’ve got a program over there playa. So look for the Trojans to hold their own. It should be a good one! No.3 vs. No.4 to start he season off! Wheredeydodatat? In the M.I.C. Playboy!!!

Around the Mic on Friday Night!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
