The Oladipo-less Pacers get ripped by the Wizards 111-102. “Tough One”

The Indiana Pacers rolled into Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Monday night snake bitten. They were without All-Star Victor Oladipo who was out with an illness and point guard Darren Collison was out with a knee injury that will require surgery. So you already know that they would be in some trouble as they loss a tough one 111-102 to the Washington Wizards.

Sure enough they struggled out of the gate missin’ their first six shots to go down 17-8. Washington, without their All-Star guard John Wall jumped all over them when they went on a 13-0 run and at the 3:13 mark of the second quarter they had gone up 55-39. The Pacers never got within arms length the rest of the way.

They had eight players in double figures playin’ without John Wall and subsequently winnin’ it’s fifth straight game and fourth in a row against the Pacers. They were led by Bradley Beal’s 21 points. Kelly Oubre Jr. knocked down 15 as Otto Porter Jr. put 13 in the kitty. The big homie Ian Mahinmi and former Pacer had 12 as Markieff Morris, Marcin Gortat and Mike Scott all contributed 11 apiece.  NUTS!!!

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The Pacers got blasted in transition 30-11 and out rebounded 43-35. It was tough not havin’ Oladipo on the floor because there’s just a different energy without him.

Bojan Bogdanovic led Indiana with a season-high 29 points as Joe Young dropped off 17. Domantas Sabonis finished with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Lance “The Don Dada” had 13 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. However, the dun turned it over 6 times too.

The loss ended the Pacers six game home winnin’ streak. Up next at New Orleans on Wednesday. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
