Boyz have been sittin’ in the cut waitin’ to see how new Colts GM, Chris Ballard, was goin’ to approach his first draft as the team’s head grocery buyer. After the first three rounds the dun gets a thumbs up from all the real G’s in the barber shop. Why? Because he’s taken care of business through three rounds. With their first round pick they took safety Malik Hooker out of Ohio State, which was a huge need and a steal at No.15 because he was a top 10 talent. Then in the second round they swooped up Florida’s Quincy Wilson at corner at No.14. Then in the third round they got defensive end Tarell Basham from Ohio number at No.16.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The Colts defense was ranked 27th last year bruh. That means that they were terrible on that side of the ball. So to draft anything that’s smells like offense would make no sense early on in the draft. They spent several draft picks in 2016 on offensive lineman to protect Andrew Luck. They were young up front last season so let’s hope that they’ll be more mature and experienced this season to keep that dun upright. Luck ran for his life for the past two seasons and enough is enough bruh.
However, as for this draft they need to stay on the defensive side of the ball as much as possible. Hopefully, the head grocery buyer can pick up a few more gems today in the 4th through the 7th rounds.
Now the first three picks that they brought home to Big Momma look good on film but we don’t know if they can ball at the next level or not. But at least Ballard made the right type of moves and that’s all you can ask for.
