The Philadelphia 76ers shook the hornet’s net on Wednesday by not allowin’ R&B singer Sevyn Streeter to sing the national anthem because she had on a “We Matter” T-shirt. I told you boyz on the crazy Hot Joint entitled “It’s On Now” just yesterday that they were in trouble because 80 percent of the freakin’ roster was black and boyz weren’t about to sit in the cut and let the black community be disrespected like that.
In less that 48 hours the 76ers organization have admitted to bein’ dead wrong, apologized and are now beggin’ ole girl to come back and sing. Why? Because they sat down with the players and the duns in the front office that understands what’s really at stake here and somebody quoted the homie, Nikos while standin’ on top of the owners desk! “Since we cannot change reality, let us change the eyes which see reality.”
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! You know as well as I do that the dun that told ole girl that she couldn’t sing with the “We Matter” shirt on had no clue of what the big picture was bruh. It’s some underling that’s put in charge of something that screwed up royally. They had one job and one job only!!! Get the dun singin’ the national anthem to the middle of the floor and give them the mic. Period! We don’t pay you to give your opinion socially.
You already know that the GM and the owner have cussed that fool up one wall and down the other for tryin’ to pull rank when rank was never needed. Do your darn job!!
Like I’ve been tellin’ you boyz since Kaepernick first took a seat or a knee that these duns better not play with these NBA cats because they’ve got GUARANTEED contracts. They could give two rips about protestin’ strong and not carin’ about whether fans come to the games or not. They don’t get paid based on the fans showin’ up or the sponsors pullin’ out. You better pay them their money that they’ve already signed up for. If a dun has a 4 year $110 million contract. If the fans don’t like it and boycott then the owners and the league are the only fools that will lose money not the players. And that’s why Philly is beggin’ Sevyn Streeter to come back and sing that darn song so fast. At some point y’all gone start listenin’ to me and stop me when I start lyin’!
