Teague’s pushin’ the whip as Pacers find their groove, winners of 5 straight! “Flow”

"Comin' through playboy!!"

Just a few weeks ago all I heard was rumblings around town that the Pacers made the wrong move with bringin’ in Nate McMillan as the new head coach of the Pacers. Boyz began to panic and dive off of the side of the boat. I kept tellin’ them that it takes time for a new unit of players and a new philosophy to gel. Give it time because they’ve got a really good core of players and Nate knows what he’s doin’.

Well playas…they’ve figured it and now they’re rollin’! On Saturday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse they jumped on the Knicks 123-109 to win their 5th straight. The offense is finally clickin’ with Jeff Teague pushin’ the whip and boyz are respondin’ to his leadership on the floor.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! I told you boyz back on December 20th in the crazy Hot Joint “Engine” that the Pacers would ONLY go as far as Jeff Teague would take them and now it’s finally comin’ to fruition. This dun has finally found his rhythm and he’s got the entire dance floor movin’ like DJ Kid Capri.

In this current five game winnin’ streak the Pacers as a team has 20 plus assists per game and it all starts with Jeff. If the ball is movin’ the floor is movin’ and if the floor is movin’ everybody’s happy.

Teague was the catalyst on Saturday night against the Knicks with 19 points and 8 assists. He was 9 for 9 from the free throw line to set the tone. Paul George finished with 19 points as well. Thaddeus Young came through with 16 as CJ Miles kept the party goin’ with 15! Al Jefferson made sure that boyz knew he was in the buildin’ with 14 off of the bench. The young boy, Myles Turner, was a solid 13 points and 10 rebounds on his way to Big Momma’s house.

As a team they finished with 25 dimes which makes all the difference in the world. When a team is sharin’ the ball the offense flows.

Now get off of Nate and let him do his job bruh! Takin’ over a team and tryin’ to find the right lineups and tryin’ to develop the right team chemistry takes time. He moved Glenn Robinson III into the startin’ lineup to give them length defensively and he’s bringin’ Monta Ellis off of the bench and it’s workin’! Relax playa, Nate’s got this.

Up next; the fellas fly to London on Sunday for a game on Thursday against the Nuggets. That should be a great team buildin’ exercise bein’ together in London all week. Stop me when I start lyin’!
