They got that what? They got that pride! They got that pride! That Warrior Pride! That’s what the kids were singin’ after the Warren Central Lady Warriors knocked off the No.1 Pike Lady Red Devils 61-58 to advance to next week’s Semi-State round!!!

It was Chris Brown up in that piece tonight! “On and Poppin’!” as both Warren Central and Pike went to war!! The Red Devils came out of the gate blazin’ hot jumpin’ to an 8-2 start where Angel Baker scored 6 of their first points 8 on 3-pointers.

Then the Lady Warriors responded to keep everything in check. Pike simply had no answer for Warren’s Shaila Beeler as she led all scorers with 33 points!!! She was unconscious tonight bruh!!! Sophomore K’Ja Talley came to the party with 18 points just to keep everybody honest.

But don’t get it twisted though, Pike’s Angel Baker dropped off 27 points just to let ‘um know that she was in the buildin’! Michaela White finished with 12 points ridin’ shotgun in the Red Devils valiant effort.

Talk about an unbelievable ball game. Aw it was NUTS!!! Both Baker and Beeler were at war from the field and if you weren’t there, you probably won’t see a match up that good the rest of the tournament. Sorry, but it was that good.

Comin’ down the stretch Warren was up 59-58 with only 5 seconds left and Pike puts up a lay up that literally goes in and spins out with 3 seconds remainin’. Talk about terrible luck on the spin. They foul and it’s a wrap. Great ball game and an even better endin’ for Warren Central who was resilient enough to get out of an overtime thriller against Brownsburg earlier Saturday mornin’.

Now it’s on to the Semi-State next week!!! They got that pride!!! They got that pride! Warrior Pride! Stop me when I start lyin’!
