Purdue let a boy hang around too long and got carjacked in Nebraska! “Hangin’ Around”

Every now and then a boy shows up on the block with crazy confidence and ridiculous swag and still gets carjacked because he didn’t see a boy comin’! Purdue (17-5, 6-3 Big Ten) fell into Lincoln, Nerbraska on Sunday afternoon and got their sneakers and jewelry taken from them at Pinnacle Bank Arena 83-80 by the dull Nebraska Cornhuskers (10-11, 4-5 Big Ten).

What’s crazy is that the Boilermakers actually balled out on the offensive end of the floor. They shot the rock darn near 44 percent from the field and an ignorant 58 percent from behind the arc!!! Wheredeydodatat?

Caleb Swanigan went to work finishin’ with his 18th double-double of the season with 14 points and 14 rebounds, which leads the nation. Dakota Mathias dropped off 19 points as Carsen Edwards knocked down 16. So what happened?

I’ll tell you what happened bruh! They let some duns that shouldn’t have been in the game hang around long enough to get the confidence to win the darn game. In the words of Big Momma, “You can’t let a boy hang around too long because he’ll set you up and beat you.”

They allowed two duns that nobody has ever heard of come off of the bench and get ‘um for 37 points! Some cat named Jack McVeigh got ‘um for 21 and Jeriah Horne got ‘um for 16!! That can’t happen bruh! Not to mention that they got out-rebounded 40-35 with Nebraska gettin’ the offensive edge of 15-11. You can’t allow some duns that shouldn’t be in the game to get second chance shots.  Offensive rebounds equal second chance shots!!!

And yeah I know that a putback with only 42 seconds remainin’ allowed them to get the lead and keep it but they shouldn’t have been in the game in the first place. What did Big Momma say bruh? “You can’t let a boy hang around too long because he’ll set you up and beat you!”  Stop me when I start lyin’!
