Purdue blasts ole dull Rutgers as Swanigan and Haas get busy! “Greedy”

"What!!!?"

James Allen once said, “You will become as small as your controlling desire; as great as you dominant aspiration.” Earl Nightingale gave it to us like this, “The mind moves in the direction of our currently dominant thoughts.” Then William Slim poured out a lil’ liquor for all of the dead homies when he spit, “The dominant feeling of the battlefield is loneliness.”

Well playas…it’s only loneliness if you’re losin’! The dominant feelin’ is confidence if you’re rollin’ down the street in a black and gold Escalade sittin’ on 26’s bumpin’ that DJ Khaled “I’ve got the keys!” The Purdue Boilermakers (21-5, 10-3 Big Ten) are takin’ boyz sneakers and jewelry and makin’ no excuses for bein’ greedy! On Tuesday night they pulled up hungry and beat the brakes off of Rutgers (13-14, 2-12 Big Ten) 74-55 to win their fourth consecutive game.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Purdue’s got the best inside game in the Big Ten and Tuesday night they put that joint on full display. Biggie Swanigan showed his complete butt and that’s the edited version with his 22nd double-double. He finished the night with 12 points and 17 rebounds. SEVENTEEN rebounds bruh? Are you kidding me?  Then Isaac Haas came out of the bushes on a boy with 24 points and 11 rebounds!

When you’ve got bigs that can get it in like that it’s impossible to stop! It’s like tryin’ to stop a freight train goin’ down hill with no brakes. All you can do is get out of the way playa.

The Boilermakers shot the rock at darn near 48 percent and held the Scarlet Knights to 36 percent shootin’ from the field. Purdue was far from playin’ the perfect game bruh. They turned the ball over 8 times in the first half before puttin’ the grip on it in the second half. As a team they out rebounded Rutgers 45-28 and they moved the ball extremely well with 17 dimes.

Besides Haas and Swanigan no one else scored in double figures but I guess when you’ve got bigs controllin’ the glass the way they did against a bunk team boyz aren’t pressured to score as much. Both Dakota Mathias and Carsen Edwards dropped off 9 apiece at Big Momma’s house and Vince Edwards came through with 7. P.J. Thompson had 6 points and 4 assists.

Up next: Michigan State on 2/18 at the crib!
