Projected Top 16 Pick Sydney Jones Hurt at Pro Day for NO DARN REASON! “Stop Talkin'”

Former Washington corner and projected Top 16 pick Sydney Jones helped off of the field at Pro Day with torn Achilles.

Alex Honnold, the famous rock climber, once said, “No matter the risks we take, we always consider the end to be too soon, even though in life, more than anything else, quality should be more important than quantity.” Well playas…some of these duns that are so anxious to get to the NFL do a terrible job of sellin’ themselves!! On Saturday the projected top 16 overall draft pick in the upcomin’ NFL Draft, Sydney Jones, tore his Achilles. The dun was performin’ his last drill of the day at the University of Washington Pro Day. Now boyz across the league are projectin’ him to be a late round pick because nobody’s goin’ to blow a top 16 pick on a dun that can’t play right away. That’s accordin’ to my mans and nem.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Why was the dun workin’ out for NFL scouts at the Pro Day in the first place? He’d already done the “dog and pony” show in Indianapolis last week!! He’s already, for lack of a better word, done the freakin’ interview and passed with flyin’ colors by ballin’ out for three seasons at Washington becomin’ a two-time first team All-Pac 12 performer with 145 tackles, eight interceptions and six forced fumbles in 40 games!!

He blasted the NFL Combine by runnin’ a freakin’ 4.28 forty!!! There was nothin’ else to do but continue to prepare for the season he’d done all he could do for the stupid draft. Now it would have taken care of itself. Why are you still tryin’ to sell something that they’ve already bought? The first thing I learned 27 years ago when I started in the field of sales was something that Zig Ziglar, the sales guru, said in one of his book, “Once you sell it stop talking because when you continue to talk you end up buying it back.”

Sydney Jones had already sold himself and continued to talk his way out of the darn first round by continuin’ to  interview for a job that was ALREADY his.

The Pro Day should be for the duns that weren’t invited to the Combine and will probably be drafted in the late rounds or for the free agents cats tryin’ to get a look. If you’re a projected top 16 pick there’s no reason on earth why you should be runnin’ around doin’ a darn thing for an NFL scout or GM but sayin’ hello at this point.

Do you realize how much bread this cat just lost yesterday by foolin’ around a stupid unnecessary Pro Day? MILLIONS!!!! And why?

I thought boyz had figured it out when they started tellin’ the schools to kick rocks at the dull bowl games that don’t have national championship implications but I guess they haven’t. I feel bad for Sydney but this should be a lesson to every dun projected to go in the top half of the draft! Stop talkin’ once you’ve sold it bruh! Stop me when I start lyin’!
