Playoff Committee gets Rankings right but WRONG order! “Trey”

"We're finally up in this piece bruh!"

Thomas Huxley, the English biologist, once said, “Science is simply common sense at its best, that is, rigidly accurate in observation, and merciless to fallacy in logic.” William Butler Yeats, the Irish poet, gave it to us like this, “People who lean on logic and philosophy and rational exposition end by starving the best part of the mind.” Albert Einstein broke it down like a G at a house party playin’ dominoes in the garage when he spit, “Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.”

Well playas…all we’re lookin’ for out of the College Football Playoff Committee is logic! We don’t need for a boy to use his imagination to take us everywhere. Last week they did that and Texas A&M ended up in the Top 4 with one loss before gettin’ the brakes beaten off of them by dull Mississippi State. On Tuesday night the latest rankings came out and they used simple logic. And guess what pimpin’? They got it right! The Top 4 teams were as follows: No.1 Alabama, No.2 Clemson, No.3 Michigan and No.4 Washington.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! As long as these four teams are in the mix they’ve got it right because they’re the only four teams in the Power 5 Conferences that remain undefeated. I’m not goin’ to trip as long as they are in play.

Now if you want to peel the onion back and get technical on a boy they’ve got the rankings wrong. After watchin’ these boyz play for the first 10 weeks I’ve got no problem with Bama bein’ No.1! A) Because they are the defendin’ national champs and they haven’t been dull yet! That’s where my agreement with the committee ends. Michigan is clearly No.2 and on some real talk, has been playin’ better week to week than ANYBODY in America. They’re nuts offensively and their ground game is sick. They’ve got the No.1 defense in the country in all phases of the game.

Again, I can’t put them ahead of Bama because as the old adage goes, “They’re No.1 until somebody knocks them off or until they start lookin’ dull!” And neither of those has occurred yet.

Then Washington should be sittin’ at the No.3 spot instead of ole dull Dabo Swinney and Company. Clemson hasn’t looked good week to week and have even struggled at times. Oh, y’all haven’t been watchin’ the same Clemson I’ve been watchin’? They were dull out of the gate against Auburn. Then darn near stomped their toe against Troy and tried to fall asleep at the wheel against North Carolina State a few weeks ago. So yes, they should be ranked No.4 instead of No.2.

But as long as they’re all in the ride goin’ to Big Momma’s house I’m good. Now the first dun to go dull will have to “Let me out” like Trey told Dough Boy and let the next dun that’s “bout it” in. Put on your seat belt and let’s ride until the next rankings come out. Stop me when I start lyin’!

1) Spit: verb – to say

2) Pimpin’: noun – the person that I’m passionately tryin’ to get my point across to.

3) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

4) Let me out: verb phrase – from the movie Boyz N the Hood when Trey was in the car with Dough Boy lookin’ for Ricky’s murderers. Trey wised up and got out before it got real.
