Paul George would rather play for the Lakers and finally told a boy straight up! “Honest livin’!”

It is what it is bruh! (AP Photo/Kamil Krzaczynski)

On last Friday mornin’ I wrote the crazy Hot Joint entitled “Dumb Questions” about duns badgerin’ Paul George about whether he was goin’ to stay in Indiana past next season or dip. Everybody and their baby’s momma knows that the dun wants to play in LA for the Lakers. It’s no secret that he wants to play back at the crib but he’s under contract until after the 2017-18 season. He hasn’t signed an extension so that should have been enough for boyz.

So on Sunday it was reported by Yahoo Sports that ole boy had his agent, Aaron Mintz, to tell new Pacers president of basketball operations, Kevin Pritchard, that he plans to leave after next season. George wants to be straight up with a boy  on what he wants to do.

Now let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Now that duns have badgered the crap out of him about what he plans to do, even though y’all knew what he planned to do, now it’s a problem. Now that you know for sure you’re goin’ to call him every name in the book because he doesn’t want to play in Indiana past next year. That’s what he was tryin’ to avoid but y’all wouldn’t let it be.

Now that he’s been honest with duns around this piece they’re hot under the collar and for what? He’s got every right to pick and choose where he wants to play because they call it free agency. As long as he shows up for work everyday and does his job boyz need to be cool with it.

You can’t trade him because nobody wants to give up pieces for him because he’s not willin’ to sign an extension. Therefore, the Pacers are stuck with him until next summer.

These ole fake media-types were runnin’ with stories about ole boy goin’ to Cleveland in a trade even before the Finals were over which made no sense at all. Why? Because he hasn’t signed an extension and he’s not!!! So that made no sense to even repeat.

Then you’ve got the fans goin’ crazy now callin’ him stupid because he can’t win a title in LA because of Golden State. NOBODY’S winnin’ a title because of Golden State right now. At least for the next two years anyway. I’ve had duns tellin’ me that it would make more sense for him to go to Cleveland than to LA because he could get to the Finals.

Bruh…it makes sense for him to go wherever he wants to go to play basketball and to wherever he wants to live. Everybody isn’t lookin’ to ring hop. Some cats actually want to play for certain teams because they want to play for certain teams. PG grew up in Southern California so he wants to play for the Lakers!! What’s wrong with that?

Don’t gang up on that man for actually controllin’ his own destiny and playin’ where he wants to play. That’s why they call it free agency!! Fans kill me actin’ like they own the players. Paul George was bein’ nice by tellin’ boyz what his intentions were because he didn’t have to tell Indiana anything.

He could have been a jerk about it and told the media that “I’m not answerin’ anymore questions about my pendin’ free agency and you’ll have to wait and see.” He could have been that dun and there’s nothin’ boyz could have done about it.

Who says that the Lakers won’t be a contender with the right pieces two or three years down the line? Remember this, Young Russ will be a free agent after the 2019 season too and he’s from LA as well.

And for everybody sittin’ around talkin’ about Golden State rulin’ the world for the next 5 years stop it. We’ve seen enough superteams and watched enough “Unsung” about the best R&B groups breakin’ up to know that boyz don’t stay together forever. What goes up must come down.

Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston will be a free agents next month and Klay Thompson will be lookin’ to get paid after next season. So you don’t know what Golden State will look like in the next two years bruh.

So PG wantin’ to go to LA is a good look for him if that’s what he wants to do. I say don’t knock his hustle. Free agency was put in place for boyz to make decisions as to where they would like to play and he’s doin’ just that. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Dip: verb – to leave

3) Unsung: noun – show about the rise and fall of super R&B groups.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
