Paul George explodes as the Pacers move into 7th place in the East! “Poppin'”

Horatio Nelson, the 18th century British flag officer in the Royal Navy, once said, “Desperate affairs require desperate measures.” Alan Moore, the writer, gave it to us like this, “As people get more desperate, history suggests that they’re not going to rise in a mighty proletarian tidal wave and wash away their oppressors. They’re gonna turn on each other.” Then David Whyte, the famous poet, broke it down like a playa at a pimp convention when he spit, “I believe that human beings are desperate, always, to belong to something larger than themselves.”

Well playas…they are and it’s called the playoffs! And naw playboy, they don’t always turn on each other! Sometimes they boot up like we used to say in the hood and simply take what they want or need. The Indiana Pacers have booted up and are takin’ control of their playoff destiny. They showed up in Orlando and not only beat Mickey Mouse out of his ears but they stopped by these NBA streets and beat the brakes off of the Magic 127-112. They’ve won three straight to climb back into the playoffs and are now sittin’ in the ride at the 7 spot in the East.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! These boyz are purrin’ like a kitten with bronchitis right now bruh! And if you’re a Pacers fan you’ve gotta be willin’ to take that at this point. Purrin’ any kind of way works this mornin’ bruh. Why? Because last week the duns were sittin’ outside on the playoff porch yellin’ for Big Momma to open the door like Fred Flintstone holdin’ the Saber Tooth Tiger. Now they’re at least in the crib eaten Big Momma’s peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Every since Lance The Don Dada showed up we’ve seen a different Pacer team takin’ the floor. The energy is through the roof and boyz are playin’ with crazy confidence at the right time of the season. They’ve always had the talent this year but for some reason they’ve been dull!!! Now it’s Chris Brown up in this piece! “On and Poppin’!”

“Thanks for the love!”

Paul George came out of the driver’s seat on a boy to lead the Pacers with 37 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists! The dun had 22 points at the break bruh!! Ole boy was feelin’ it early and they simply had no answer for him. Myles Turner jumped out of the whip with 23 points and 10 rebounds while Thaddeus Young hit ‘um up for clean 14!!!

The Indiana front court was NUTS!!! Finishin’ the game shootin’ like they were wild game huntin’ knockin’ boyz down from the field at 72 percent!!! Wheredeydodatat? Then C.J. Miles and Kevin Seraphin came out of the bushes on a boy with 11 apiece!!

Now that these boyz are on a three game winnin’ streak they’ve got to focus on stayin’ the course when they show up to play the dull 76ers on Monday and then the season finale is on Wednesday against Atlanta at the crib. Finishin’ strong is paramount at this point playa and stop me when I start lyin’!

2) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

3) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it.

4) Boot Up: verb phrase – to prepare to fight a boy for what’s yours

5) On and Poppin’: noun – song by the R&B singer Chris Brown.

6) Come out of the bushes: verb phrase – to come off of the bench

7) Crib: noun – home

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”

The captions under the photos aren’t real but they’re real talk!
