Patrick Beverly makes good on a promise to shut Lonzo Ball down and LaVar can’t take it! “Great TV”

Well playas…what I told you over the summer about boyz sittin’ in the cut waitin’ to get at Lonzo Ball started in LA on Thursday night. Everybody and their baby’s momma in the NBA is goin’ to be gunnin’ for ole boy simply because his daddy has thrown him out in the middle of the street butt naked talkin’ a million dollars worth of noise.

Durin’ the Lakers opener game against the Clippers they got drug up and down the floor 108-92 and Lonzo Ball was held to 3 points, 4 assists and 9 rebounds all night. So you already know that it was comin’. As Patrick Beverly exited the court headed to the locker room he shouted, “weak ass m—–f—–. Bring him out on the court with me and I will tear his ass up.”

Because LaVar can’t help himself, the dun fires back while speakin’ with ESPN after the game sayin’, “Yeah, you shut the m—–f—– down. And your check still ain’t going to go no higher than what it is. Yeah, you shut him down. OK … Who is Patrick Beverley? He played all last year and nobody said nothing about him. Now we are looking at your first game. Why? Because Lonzo’s name is attached to it.”

He goes on to say, “So you got to be [all hard],” as the dun pumps his fists like he wants to scrap or something. “Let’s see what you do the next five games, if you are going to be pumped up towards everybody like that and go back to your 0-for-5 shooting and your two or three rebounds. Nobody is going to care about you. But you put my son’s name in it and you put my name in it, now you got some action and you got some people talking.”

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Yo LaVar!!! You ain’t in the league bruh!! Go somewhere and sit down!! This ain’t summer league either. Lonzo’s playin’ against real NBA players now and they’ve got egos too. The only difference between them and you is that they can back their egos up. You can’t, well…not on the floor anyway.

So you talkin’ noise to Patrick Beverly and every other dun that goin’ to go to work on your kid only makes it worse for your kid. The more you stand on the sideline and talk, the more Lonzo gets targeted. I’m actually cool with it because it gives me and everybody else a reason to tune in to see the Lakers. Now I’ve got a reason to stay up late. It’s called the “LaVar Ball Fire Back Session!” It’ll be better than watchin’ that Housewives foolishness.

Bruh, Patrick Beverly is one of the best defenders in the league. Stop with this foolishness! He told you back in September that he was gonna shut your son down in a Tweet! Wanna see it, here it is. And he tagged LaVar on it too.

And it has nothin’ to do with who’s makin’ more money or who’s got their own shoe. You sound like a fool with that one. He ate your kid’s lunch and took his sneakers and jewelry off of him on Thursday night just like De’Aaron Fox did him in the NCAA Tournament last spring. You gotta be willin’ to take the “L” and keep it movin’ bruh because the more you talk the more boyz are linin’ up to get some of Lonzo. That’s real talk.

However, from an entertainment standpoint I would suggest that you keep talkin’ crazy after the games because it makes for great television. You’re the old man that eventually runs out on the floor and starts fightin’ the kid that’s hoopin’ your son. In my Bart Scott voice, “Can’t wait!!!” Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase – to make it as elementary as possible. To put it at ground level so everyone can understand it.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”

The caption under the photo isn’t real but its real talk!
