Pacers took a boy for granted and almost gave the Bentley away! “Whips and Keys”

"Hey give me that back!! Please!!!"

Bertrand Russell, British philosopher, once said, “In all affairs it’s a healthy thing now and then to hang a question mark on the things you have long taken for granted.” Paula Abdul, the former Lakers dancer, gave it to us like this, “Your talent is your art. It is not to be taken for granted.” Then Dr. Joyce Brothers broke it down like an O.G. at a gangstas convention when she spit, “Being taken for granted can be a compliment. It means that you’ve become a comfortable, trusted element in another person’s life.”

Well playas…the Indiana Pacers took the young and hapless Philadelphia 76ers for granted on Wednesday night and almost got beat! The Sixers rolled into town winless at 0-8 and boyz left the keys in the car and the doors unlocked. The Pacers had to, at the last minute, go into overtime to shake these boyz 122-115.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Just because these boyz hadn’t won a game doesn’t mean that they aren’t on scholarship too!! They’ve got millionaires on the roster gettin’ guaranteed contracts too. So why would a boy pull up in the driveway in the middle of the ghetto in a brand new Bentley, leave it runnin’ with the keys in it and the music blastin’?

That’s what the Pacers did last night bruh! Then when a boy jumped in the whip and took off down the street. They spent the next 3 quarters and the overtime period chasin” this fool through the hood tryin’ to get the joint back.

It took all of Jeff Teague’s 30 points and 9 assists, Paul George’s 28 points and 8 rebounds, Big Al Jefferson’s 18 and 6 boards, Myles Turner’s 15 and 9 and C.J. Miles goin’ 3 for 4 from 3 and finishin’ with 12 points to pull those fools out of the ride.

By the time they caught up with them tryin’ to leave Big Momma and Lil’ Elbow nem’s street in the fourth quarter Jeff Teague and Paul George had to hit ‘um up with the final 15 points just to extend the fight!!! Why bruh? Because they took these duns for granted.

Never leave the keys in the ride runnin’ thinkin’ that a boy won’t try to hit a lick out here. Why? Because EVERYBODY’S hungry and some cats will get you just because you dared them not to. Stop me when I start lyin’!
