It took five straight wins down the stretch for the Indiana Pacers to clinch a playoff spot but now that the regular season is over they can safely say that they’re in. After beatin’ the Hawks 104-86 on Wednesday night they ended up in the seventh spot and a date with Cleveland on Saturday at 3pm!!! LeBron that is, defendin’ champs and superstars! Some of you cats are too young to remember that Beverly Hillbillies reference but I had to sneak that one in playa.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! It doesn’t matter who they’re playin’ bruh, boyz are just happy to be in the post season. Showin’ up in the 7th or 8th spot is irrelevant as long as a boy is in the whip with his seat belt on.
What was so crazy about Wednesday night was that the Pacers were playin’ with their starters like it was a real live Po Pimp “Do or Die” situation and Atlanta had puppets and mannequins on the floor. No Dwight Howard, Hardaway Jr., Schroder or Bazemore. They started a bunch of duns that could have robbed the gas station down the street in their game uniforms and boyz wouldn’t have been able to identify them in a police line up with the stolen merchandise in their hands.
And they hung around forever in this game until they finally ran out of gas. Paul George scored 12 of his 32 points in the fourth quarter to put them away. Jeff Teague dropped off a solid 19 points and 7 assists while Myles Turner picked up 18 points and 8 rebounds on his way to big momma’s house.
Relax for about 12 hours before mentally preparin’ to play the defendin’ champs at their house on their court. Now it’s like Chris Brown up in this piece “On and Poppin’!” However, boyz better give ole Lance The Don Dada his respect because without him they don’t win five straight playa. Naw, not at all. His energy carried them down the stretch and yes, I know that PG has been on a tear for the past five games averagin’ 31 points in each of those wins. But Lance brought the fiyah to the barn fire bruh. I’m just sayin’! Take that dun to dinner and give him a Coke and Smile.
Paul George understands the task at hand will be a tough one but it is what it is. “We have to go out and challenge them and play them straight up. It’s going to be tough. They’ve been struggling as of late, but they’re still one of the best teams in this league and have one of the best players in the world. It’s going to be a fun matchup.”
Well playa…I don’t know how fun it’s gonna be but is gonna be something. As long as LeBron is healthy and playin’ they’ve got no chance of winnin’ that series. We’ve seen this dun drag the Cavs to the Finals single handedly. So playin’ the 7th seed with home court advantage will be a piece of cake. I’m cool with enjoyin’ the ride in the Bentley for a week or so. Stop me when I start lyin’!

2) Whip: noun – luxury vehicle
3) Up in this piece: – Hood for “in this place”
4) On and Poppin’: noun – song by R&B singer Chris Brown
The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
