Wasting time is just wasting time.”
Well playas…even if you go all the way to London to play ONE basketball game and get the brakes beaten off of you 140-112 there is no good way to waste time! Wastin’ times is just wastin’ time! The Indiana Pacers and the NBA will try to tell you otherwise, playboy. They’ll tell you that it was a great experience and an unbelievable opportunity to grow their brands in the UK. They’ll tell you that it was great for the game of basketball globally! But what they won’t tell you is that the Pacers got out there and embarrassed themselves and the league on a global stage and Big Momma is fired up right now.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The Denver Nuggets were on a 5 game losin’ streak and the Pacers were on a 5 game winnin’ streak. Now something had to give right? How bout a good game while they both figured out who they were goin’ to be?
The Nuggets decided that they were goin’ to play some ball and not embarrass Big Momma and Uncle Joe. The Pacers, on the other hand, pulled an O’Jays on a boy. “Your body’s here with me but your mind is on the other side of town.”
Denver jumped out of the birthday cake butt naked and shot darn near 58 percent from the field and 46 percent from downtown on these boyz. Oh and they shot 91 percent from the foul line too.
Now don’t get it twisted playboy, the Pacers shot the rock off of the charts too! They shot 46 percent from the field and 41 percent from three and 92 percent from the free throw line. So why did they get blasted? Because they didn’t play an ounce of freakin’ defense!!! They thought that they were playin’ in the All-Star Game instead of a regular season game in another country bruh!! It had an All-Star Game feel to it anyway. Well..maybe not. Maybe it was all of the tours and takin’ pictures everywhere that made it feel like a bigger deal than it actually was.
Over there sightseein’ and hangin’ out they forgot to pack some defense. Everybody with a Denver Nuggets W-2 scored on the Pacers. The darn team doctor got a dunk and the massage therapist even put up a triple double. Lil’ Miss Johnson that cooks the team’s food crossed a boy over.
Just embarrassin’ bruh!! Not the fact that they loss the game. It’s the foolishness of gettin’ their skin pulled off in front of everybody in the UK. The next time a boy comes in with the bright idea of playin’ in London, push him in the face and keep doin’ whatever you were doin’.
C.J. Miles led the Pacers with 20 points shootin’ 6 of 7 from behind the arc. Jeff Teague knocked down 14 points and threw 9 dimes. Aaron Brooks came out of the bushes with 14 points as Monta Ellis followed him into the street with 12. Paul George flew all the way over there for, in my granny’s voice, “10 funky points bruh.”
When I say a complete waste of time!! I mean a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME! Stop me when I start lyin’!
