Pacers prove boyz wrong to beat Rockets on the road! “Front Porch”

"I got this playa!"

For some reason the Indiana Pacers have the Houston Rockets’ number, sneakers and jewelry. For the the second time in a month they knocked these boyz off. Back in late January they blasted them at Bankers Life Fieldhouse and then on Monday night they were able to contain them enough to get outta the joint alive with a 117-108 victory.

Everybody and their baby’s momma’s momma, Ms. Jackson, figured after they layed an egg on Saturday night in Miami that they would easily show up in Houston draggin’ their tails and get blown out of the joint. However, they showed some resilience, took a punch in the first half and kept their feet underneath them.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Houston came out of Big Momma’s house fired up and jumped all over the blue and gold and was up by as many at 17 points with about nine minutes left in the second quarter.

However, the Pacers figured out how to play with the confidence of a G in his own neighborhood sittin’ on his own porch the rest of the way. Jeff Teague led the Pacers with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Rodney Stuckey came out of the bushes with 17 on a boy and Paul George kept his composure finishin’ with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

Before the All-Star break Indiana crashed into the garage on a six game losin’ streak, came back and blasted Memphis at the crib only to get drug up and down the floor in Miami on Saturday night after a PG13 ejection. So nobody in their right mind saw them goin’ to Houston and beatin’ a team that has scored more than 100 points in 46 straight games and with this game make it 47.

Here lately, the Pacers haven’t been able to guard a three point shot to save their lives. However, they must have put hex on the Rockets because they held them to 22 percent shootin’ from behind the arc. Houston took 45 three point shots and only knocked down 10 of them. Wherever that came from I’m quite sure Pacers fans will take it.

Indiana shot the ball with confidence finishin’ the night shootin’ 45 percent from the field and 43 percent from downtown. As a team they shared the ball like a hot diseased potato with 29 assists. If you’re goin’ to win on the road this is how it has to be done. Somebody tell Nate to bottle this one up and take it with them. This was only the 10th road win of the season for the Pacers and they’re goin’ to need all the confidence in the world on Wednesday because they’re rollin’ into San Antonio. Stop me when I start lyin’!
