Pacers look like they’re ready to fight a boy for their sneakers now! “Loose Ends”

"Oh, I'm in the ride now playboy!"

Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Rarely do we find men who willingly engage in hard, solid thinking. There is an almost universal quest for easy answers and half-baked solutions. Nothing pains some people more than having to think.” Confucius broke it down like this, “Humility is the solid foundation of all virtues.” Then Gordon B. Hinckley, the religious leader and author, put it where the goats could get it when he spit, “You can’t build a great building on a weak foundation. You must have a solid foundation if you’re going to have a strong superstructure.”

Well playas…as I watch the Indiana Pacers durin’ this preseason. I see a solid foundation startin’ to build and there’s a different attitude on the floor that I seem to like. Yeah, I know that it’s preseason but these boyz look like they’re pullin’ up in a different type of ride bruh. On Thursday evenin’ they hosted D. Wade and the new look Chicago Bulls and handled their business 115-108.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Nobody’s trippin’ on wins and losses in the preseason. Boyz just wanna see what type of fight their goin’ to have when they pull up in the projects to fight. Is there an attitude of aggression that will keep a boy from takin’ their sneakers and jewelry on a dark night in January behind Lil’ Miss Johnson’s house in Toronto or Chicago somewhere.

Will a boy protect his house when duns come through bein’ disrespectful tryin’ to turn over tables and wearin’ their shoes on Big Momma’s new carpet? Do we have enough ride or die type cats to keep the piece when the rowdy bunch shows up on the block lookin’ for trouble? Well from what I’m seein’ the answer is yes.

With cats like Thaddeus Young, Monta Ellis and Al Jefferson I’m comfortable that if it’s gotta pop off they’ll roll up some leaves and get it in. Jeff Teague is aggressive enough with the rock that things are sure to pop off. Paul George is comin’ off of a brilliant summer with USA Basketball and winnin’ a Gold medal so his confidence is nuts right now! Therefore, he’s divin’ out of the ride head first on a boy to get buckets! From what we understand Glenn Robinson III has had a tremendous trainin’ camp along with Rodney Stuckey!! So with cats that are willin’ to shoot when need be I’m cool with them bein’ in the car rollin’ in and out of the wrong neighborhoods 82 times this season.

Nate McMillan seems to be right back at home drivin’ the whip with the seat leaned all the way back with the tinted windows cracked bumpin’ some old school drivin’ music like  “Loose Ends!” Pick any song on any album bruh and you’re good. Now of course, they still need some work but who doesn’t. The attitude is what I’m talkin’ about playa. Either you’ve got it or you don’t bruh! Either you’re a target of a G. That’s DNA you can’t teach it. This team looks to have the edge you need to compete and that’s what they lacked in the previous few years. Yeah bruh, I’m lookin’ forward to the 2016-2017 Pacers season. Keep up with Ya Boy because I’ll keep you in the mix and stop me when I start lyin’!
