Pacers jump on boyz in Detroit and walk out with fresh new gators! “Changes”

Dwayne Johnson, the famous actor and former wrestler, once said, “Success isn’t always about greatness. It’s about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Greatness will come.” Brian Tracy gave it to us like this, “The person we believe ourselves to be will always act in a manner consistent with our self-image.” Then Tony Robbins popped the lock on the ole green Chevy when he spit, “For changes to be of any true value, they’ve got to be lasting and consistent.”

Well playas…the Indiana Pacers have been tinkerin’ with the startin’ line up by movin’ Lil’ Glenn to the shootin’ guard position and havin’ Monta Ellis comin’ off of the bench. That change seems to have been of true value because the offense is clickin’ without disruption at this point.

On Tuesday night they “fell off into” the Palace of Auburn Hills and jumped on the Pistons. They took the gangsta side walls off of the whips and every pair of gators in the buildin’ 121-116 to win their third straight game. The Pacers hadn’t won three straight all season playboy. That’s huge!!

With the offense flowin’ and the ball movin’ the Pacers are startin’ to gel! They had 26 assists as a team which means that they’re playin’ the game the right way. The past three ball games they’ve had at least 26 assists. That’s not done on accident. Havin’ G Rob III in the line up changes the dynamic and boyz are gettin’ touches that helps the entire program.

Paul George jumped out of the ride from the driver’s seat with 32 points and 6 rebounds. Jeff Teague came out of the passenger door with a solid 17 and 8 dimes to keep a boy distracted. Then Myles Turner came out of the rear with 17 and 7 rebounds. While everybody was payin’ attention to these cats in the street wildin’ out, Monta Ellis comes out of the bushes on a boy with 16. As the confusion gets worse and the smoke gets thicker Kevin Seraphin comes out of the neighbor’s house with 10 to shut the joint down.

Where’s this Glenn fella that I said is makin’ the difference? He’s standin’ down at the end of the street playin’ defense keepin’ boyz from sneakin’ up on the crew. He’s the cat that doesn’t stop the ball and allows the offense to flow. Sure, he put 8 points in the bucket but he gives the team some length and defense. It’s Paul George’s job to put up points! It’s on Jeff Teague to make sure the ball is movin’ and Myles is busy protectin’ the rim. Thaddeus gets in where he fits in.

As long as everybody knows what’s expected of them when they pull up it things should get better because all they need is consistency. Stop me when I start lyin’!
