Pacers hold off surgin’ Heat! Paul George drops off 28 but… “Seat belts”

"Hold on big fella we got this!"

Back in the mid ’90’s when Puff Daddy had Bad Boy rollin’ his favorite line in a song was, “It’s real in the field!” Well playas…it’s real in the field comin’ down the stretch in the Eastern Conference. The Indiana Pacers are sittin’ in the sixth spot and the Miami Heat are sittin’ outside on Big Momma’s porch lookin’ in! Why? Because they’re ninth after the losin’ a thriller at Bankers Life Fieldhouse 102-98.

The Heat rolled into town as the hottest team in the league havin’ won 21 or their last 25 games!!! Boyz were on fire!! However, they ran into some cats that are desperate to get into the playoffs and they were able to keep them at bay behind Paul George’s 28 points and 10 rebounds. Thaddeus Young dropped off 13 points as Jeff Teague threw 12 in the kitty. Rodney Stuckey came out of the bushes with 9 points to keep boyz honest.

Now let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! In another month if the Pacers make the playoffs, what I’m about to say will be as real as it gets playa. Paul George has got to play a complete game. He had 24 points after three quarters and finished the game with 28! That means that the dun only scored 4 points in the fourth quarter. That won’t get it done when it becomes do or die in the playoffs.

Everybody and their baby’s momma and their old Uncle LeRoy will be fightin’ mad late next month because the dun won’t finish games! I’m tellin’ you right now that it’s goin’ to be a problem because it’s been a problem all season. You just haven’t been payin’ attention to it because there is another game guaranteed on the schedule. Why? Because it’s the regular season.

Come playoff time there won’t be another game if you don’t win the best of 7 sittin’ in front of you. I’m just sayin’! So in my Dr. Dre’ voice, “Sit back ,relax and put on ya seat belt” because it’s gonna happen. Stop me when I start lyin’!
