Pacers explode in Minnesota as they beat the brakes off of the Timberwolves 130-107! “TEAM”

"Gimme that playa!" Darren Collison and his boyz go to work up in Minnesota on Tuesday night winnin' 130-107. Photo: Jim Mone/AP

Over the summer everybody and their baby’s momma looked at the Timberwolves roster and said that they would be fun to watch. They’ve made some major moves and the talent meter was sittin’ on 10!! Boyz looked at the Pacers roster and NOBODY got excited! Paul George was gone, Oladipo and Sabonis was in with a bunch of cats that didn’t move you on paper.

Well playas…they rolled into Minnesota on Tuesday night and went to work on a boy!! First of all, they couldn’t miss, shootin’ 67 percent from the field as a team as they beat the brakes off of a team, that on paper, had far more talent than they did 130-107. That’s NUTS!!!

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Jimmy Butler was out with an upper respiratory infection but even if he’d been available he couldn’t have played defense on everybody bruh. The Pacers were like snipers at the Carter.

Oladipo has been, like my momma used to say, “showin’ his bare bottom” since the season started. The dun was averagin’ 22 points per game comin’ into this joint and he exploded for 28 on a boy in Minnesota. Not only did he jump out of the whip puttin’ in work but everybody in the ride came strapped and ready to go.

Corey Joseph came out of the bushes on a boy with 21 points. Bogan Bogdanovic hit ’em with 19 comin’ out of the trunk as Darren Collison came out of the passenger seat with 15 points and 16 assists. Domantas Sabonis was on target with 15 points of his own as the rookie T.J. Leaf dropped off 11 points for Big Momma’s sweet potato pie.

Talk about playin’ as a team and sharin’ the ball! They finished the night with 31 assists. Wheredeydodatat?

Did I mention that the Pacers were still without Myles Turner and that they were showin’ up to play a team with a dun named Karl Anthony Towns? Well if I didn’t they did! Now ole boy did go to work scorin’ 28 points and pickin’ up 7 rebounds but the Pacers were able to keep the other cast of characters at bay. Shabazz Muhammad snuck in and got 18 and Jamal Crawford came out of the bushes with 18 as well. However, duns like Jeff Teague, Taj Gibson and Andrew Wiggins were all held to single digits.

I don’t know about you playboy but this new Pacers team has been fun to watch and ole Kevin Pritchard is startin’ to look like a genius for makin’ the Oladipo and Sabonis trade for Paul George. The combination of the two has brought in more production every night than PG alone with less drama.

Oladipo is playin’ with a chip on his shoulder. I’m sorry, let me correct myself. He told me at Pacers Media Day that he was goin’ to play with a boulder on his shoulder not a chip and he’s been doin’ it since the season started too.

Like Lance Stephenson said last week, “We just wanna win.” It really shows that they are lookin’ to play together. There aren’t any egos on the floor and whoever is open gets the rock. Now Lance can’t buy a bucket at this point but he’s cool with playin’ his role.

Hopefully they can build on this win and continue to play as a team. Up next: OKC and Paul George tonight!! It should be fun to watch. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) The Carter: noun – the apartment buildin’ in the movie “New Jack City” that Nino Brown, the drug dealer, took over to house his drug distribution ring.

3) Ole boy: noun – the person that I’m currently talkin’ about.

4) Comin’ out of the Bushes: verb phrase – to come off of the bench.

5) Wheredeydodatat: Hood for “Who does that?”

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”

The caption under the photo isn’t real but its real talk!
