Pacers come out of the ride strong and knock off Clippers in LA! “Power Move”

"We up in this piece bruh!"

Albert Bandura, the well-known psychologist, once said, “In order to succeed, people need a sense of self-efficacy, to struggle together with resilience to meet the inevitable obstacles and inequities of life.” Joshua Waitzskin, the famous chess and martial artist, put some thought into this joint before he said, “The moment we believe that success is determined by an ingrained level of ability as opposed to resilience and hard work, we will be brittle in the face of adversity. Then Gever Tulley, writer and speaker, broke it down for the simplest of cats to understand it when he spit, “Persistence and resilience only come from having been given the chance to work though difficult problems.”

Well playas…the Indiana Pacers have developed a sense of persistence and resilience because they’ve had to work through some injuries early this season. With duns like Paul George, CJ Miles and Myles Turner out for several games they got a chance to see what adversity looked like butt naked. So when they showed up in LA on Sunday and went down 15 points early they didn’t panic. With all hands on deck against the Clippers, boyz jumped out of the car and took care of business 111-102 to get out of the joint with just their second road win of the season.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The Clipper came out of the box rollin’ on Sunday night! They jumped all over the Pacers goin’ up 15 points in the openin’ quarter. Then boyz must have gotten that call from Big Momma and it was like Chris Brown up in that piece. It was “On and Poppin’!”

Everybody jumped out of the ride ready to fight and because they weren’t about to travel all the way out to LA just to give up their sneakers and jewelry. Naw playa, not on this Sunday night.

All five starter finished the night in double figures. Thaddeus Young came out of the driver’s seat with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Followed by Paul George with a solid 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Jeff Teague snuck up on a boy with 15 while they were distracted with PG and Thaddeus. Monta Ellis came through with 14 as Myles Turner locked in on 12 for the night.

Oh, don’t forget about Rodney Stuckey comin’ out of the bushes on a boy with 16 as CJ Miles followed him with a smooth 12.

The Pacers have some depth now, which will be huge later in the season. To go on the road and knock off the Clippers was a power move and a serious confidence builder bruh. They’re goin’ to certainly need it walkin’ into Oracle Arena tonight to wrestle with the Golden State Warriors, I can tell you that. Stop me when I start lyin’!
