Pacers can’t buy a bucket in LA as short handed Lakers win! “Uh?”

Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports

The Pacers ran out to LA on Friday night and got the brakes beaten off of them on the back end of  back-to-back 99-86. Sure, it was only a 13 point loss but they couldn’t hit an elephant in the butt with a base fiddle. They completely struggled to shoot the ball from start to finish.

The Lakers were down three starters couldn’t buy a free throw only hittin’ 2 of 14 from the foul line but managed to handle Indiana easily.

After winnin’ the first two games of their 5 game west coast road trip the Pacers hit the guard rails in the last two ball games gettin’ blasted at Portland on Thursday night 100-86 and then completely fallin’ apart in Los Angeles.

They shot a season low 38.1 percent from the field, an awful 8 percent (2-25) from behind the arc and only 76 percent from the free throw line.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The Pacers couldn’t shoot and the Lakers couldn’t miss from the field. It’s basic math playa. They knocked down 55 percent of their shots and got crazy production from their bench. Jordan Clarkson went NUTS comin’ out of the bushes finishin’ with 33 points.

It’s hard to win a game when the Pacers can only get 20 points from their bench and the Lakers managed 52!!!

Victor Oladipo led the Pacers with 25 points as Domantas Sabonis dropped off 15 points and 14 rebounds still fillin’ in for the injured Myles Turner. Bojan Bogdanovic had 11 points and Thaddeus Young dropped off 10.

Up next San Antonio on Sunday. Stop me when I start lyin’!

Playas Thesaurus:

1) Dun: noun – the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It’s whoever I’m talkin’ about and its non-gender specific.

2) Comin’ out of the bushes: verb phrase – to come off of the bench.

The G is excluded from the endings of all words because the G is near and dear to my heart because I’m from “The G” which is Gary, Indiana. So I only use the G when I’m talkin’ about “The G!”
