After bein’ on a roller coaster tradin’ wins for losses for 15 games since mid February. The Pacers finally threw a boy off by losin’ two straight last week. So on Sunday evenin’ they showed up at the crib and beat the doors off of the Philadelphia 76ers 107-94 just to shake things up a bit. With all of the foolishness goin’ on in the Eastern Conference they’re in a three way tie for 5th with Atlanta and Milwaukee. Yeah playa, that looks good on paper but that really equates to sittin’ in the 7th spot if boyz aren’t careful.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! A sense of urgency better pull up in a Cadillac with a “Diamond in the back, sunroof top, diggin’ the scene with a gangsta lean Gangsta whitewalls” if they plan on makin’ the playoffs. Like I’ve said before, fightin’ for the 7th or 8th spot in the playoffs doesn’t really do anything for a boy because they’ll have to play Cleveland or Boston that will have home court advantage. So all you’re doin’ is extendin’ workouts for another two weeks fallin’ into those positions. Duns will get the playoff checks but that’s about it.
Real talk, a boy needs to be in the 4th, 5th or 6th spot to really have a puncher’s chance of advancin’ in the playoffs
Paul George led all scorers with 21 points as the Pacers had seven cats in double figures. The Young Boy, Myles Turner, turned 21 over the weekend and then played like a fully GROWN man on Sunday! He finished the night with 17 points and 16 rebounds as Jeff Teague added 16 to the kitty.
Al Jefferson dropped 14 points and 7 rebounds by Big Momma’s house before leavin’ the game with a sprained ankle. Then Monta Ellis, CJ Miles and Aaron Brooks all came through with 10 on it just to keep a boy honest.
It’s a “Po Pimp” Do or Die situation at this point bruh! There are only 9 games left in this foolishness and five of them are on the road playboy and we all know how dull the Pacers have been away from Bankers Life.
